Partea NYC is a fun and unique spot that combines a boba shop with an arcade. The space is clean and colorful, especially with all the Pokémon-themed elements throughout. There are tons of claw machines to try, which makes it a great place to hang out or just pass time. Overall, it's a cool experience beyond just grabbing boba. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Little Tokyo.

Watermelon sago slush on a hot day! We stopped in to try this new boba/arcade spot and were pleasantly surprised to find a neon night market vibe inside with clean spaces and cute plushies to win. There's a clean bathroom if you purchase a drink :)

I went for their grand opening and had these $1 drinks and had a little giveaway if you won. Literally looks so retro with all the colorful neon lights. A perfect place to get boba tea and play some arcade games and claw machines! Great to handle out with friends! Near Little Tokyo.

After eating in Honda Plaza, we walked around the area for dessert and came across Partea. I liked that they had mango sago with pomelo. You can order drinks at the entrance, and there's a bar counter with stools where you can sit and wait for your order. Since we got there at almost closing we didn't have much time to explore. But I took a quick peek upstairs and there are claw machines, arcade games and other games you can play with. There's a machine to get tokens. This is a fun, bright place to check out. And get a mango sago drink in Little Tokyo!

So fun!! Would come back! Staff is also super sweet! I'm so glad they opened this close by!

Calcy and Matt are the kind of owners who make you feel like regulars on your first visit. They walked us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and spot-on recommendations. We tried the Watermelon Tea, Passion Fruit Tea, and their Partea Fruit Tea--all three were bright, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. The watermelon tasted clean and crisp (not syrupy at all), the passion fruit had that perfect tang without being overly sweet, and the Partea Fruit Tea was a vibrant, layered sip with real fruit and a super fresh tea base. You can taste the quality and care in every cup. Service was fast, the shop is spotless, and customization (sweetness/ice) was easy. If you're anywhere nearby, this should be your go-to tea stop. Huge thanks to Calcy and Matt for the hospitality--can't wait to come back!

We had a really fun time last night. The taro drink with boba was delicious. Boba was fresh and bouncy. I drank two cups . The vibe was vibrant and service was great. I ended up winning Pokémon cards for my nephew.

The space is clean, the vibe is chill, and it's an awesome place to hang out with friends or go on a casual date. Definitely coming back for more claw games and boba!

If you like boba but also enjoy a little bit of fun, Partea is the spot. There are claw machines with cute prizes, and the drink menu has so many good options. The staff is always super friendly, and the service is surprisingly fast even when it's busy. My go-to is the Sparkling Series, especially the lychee -- it's refreshing without being too sweet. And their mango sago? Honestly the BEST I've had anywhere. Creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced. This place never disappoints!

There's usually a line, but it's only ever long on game days and special sales events. The food is quite good, and there's plenty of shelf-like tables around the primary parking lot to make grabbing a space not too difficult on a "regular" night. The only real issue is that it's gotten quite expensive (like pretty much all fast food joints since 2020. For the value hunter, it's best to check the company's social media feeds to find the days they offer 2-for-1 specials and whatnot. Orders were getting mixed up, people had to repeat themselves multiple times, and she kept telling customers to "wait" before even letting them speak. One situation stood out--there was a customer trying to order in Spanish, and the cashier couldn't understand him. Meanwhile, other staff behind the counter were speaking Spanish to each other but didn't step in to help. Another customer who was waiting for their food ended up translating just so the order could go through. That shouldn't happen. When it was my turn, I tried to be patient. I downloaded the Tommy's app since there was a sign posted right at the register and asked if she needed my barcode--she seemed confused. I ordered a triple cheeseburger, and she repeated something completely different back to me. I had to slowly repeat myself several times and was still told to "wait" again. Maybe she was new or overwhelmed, but with that many staff behind the counter, someone should have stepped in to help. The lack of coordination made the whole experience frustrating. Food is what you expect, but the service alone made this a bad experience.

The difference between the two locations was night and day. Even though it was Mother's Day and busy everywhere, Boyle Heights was organized, fast, friendly, and fully stocked. There was plenty of parking, the line moved quickly, and the employees were courteous and professional from the moment we arrived. Most importantly! THEY HAD EVERYTHING. Fresh biscuits? Yes. Fully stocked menu? Yes. Good customer service? Absolutely. The biscuits were fresh, hot, buttery, and delicious, exactly how I remembered Pioneer Chicken growing up in Los Angeles. We honestly ate them on the drive home because they were THAT good. You could immediately feel the better energy and management at this location. People were constantly coming in and out, yet the staff still handled things efficiently and professionally. As someone born and raised in LA, Pioneer Chicken is nostalgic for me, and this Boyle Heights location felt much closer to the Pioneer I remember. I will definitely return to this location again. Thank you to the Boyle Heights staff for saving Mother's Day dinner. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the biscuits, the aroma took over, the box was opened and my mouth ate before my camera! ha ha ha

We were heading back from the Grayson and wanted a quick bite to eat. Ordered from the app for drive thru pick up. Not sure if it was on the worker's side or the food ordering speaker was messed up, the menu did look like an Eldritch horror, but we had to repeat our order code several times. We were told to go to the next window. We get to the next window and it's a window to the actual restaurant and not part of the kitchen. I have never seen this at a McDonald's before. Usually the first window is to pay or to get your receipt, second window is to get your order, and if it's super busy there's a small pull up area where they may walk out your food. But no, second window was just a window to the restaurant. We pulled up too far and instead of letting us just walk back and pick up the food, or just bring the food to us in the parking spot, I guess this is for safety of the workers since it was really late at night and there's transients around, but we had to just weirdly reverse and bring our car back into the drive thru line, much to the ire of the other customers. Not a great experience. Lady working there was also tapping her fingers and obviously very impatient. If you were a bit more clear with your instructions it wouldn't have led to this. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized.
