I was almost overwhelmed at the selection and quality. The store also sells beautiful cards, books, mugs and oh yeah pictures. What I like the most about the shop is that they will frame pictures you bring in and when I asked about pricing they seemed to be pretty reasonable. In addition the store does carry some incredible pictures, including one of Audrey Hepburn that I had not seen before and I'm a huge fan! This is a great shop to find a gift for someone who likes interesting and clever gifts.

I am a particular fan of the cards which are more unusual than standard Clintons fare.

The sales staff was absolutely top-notch, and while the staff person was busy identifying several of the books by John Berger that were available, he and I had a nice conversation about Berger. As it turns out, London Review was involved in the publication of one of Berger's recent books, so of course they had it in stock. A truly superb bookshop, for new books, stocked with a highly discerning eye.

My friend Sharon brought me here and she is an avid reader. If you love interesting books, this is a treasure trove with books covering a whole multitude of subjects. We snagged one of the little tables and went for alternatives to the disappointingly absent carrot cake. We chose the intriguing courgette and lemon curd cake as well as the mixed berry cheesecake The courgette and lemon curd cake was great - a subtle hint of courgette so as not to be too vegetabley but lovely and moist with more dominant lemon flavour. Free and interesting. The Serpentine Galleries are two small…read moregalleries located in Hyde Park, which are much closer together than I anticipated. They are easily both visited in the same stop in the park. On my visit, there was a contemporary landscape exhibit in one gallery, which unfortunately for me was also currently being visited by a large group of elementary aged school children (there was a lot of shouting, by the students and the teachers/minders trying to keep them in line). That encouraged me to...not linger long, though I liked the style of the art on display. In the other gallery was a large-scale digital work by David Hockney, along with paintings on display in the inner rooms. I happened to visit early in the day of the day he actually passed away. Just an interesting coincidence, and I assume it likely that the gallery may have been much busier in subsequent days following the news. Both galleries have gift shops, and one has a cafe and small garden. Certainly worth a stop in if you are in the park, and especially in the summer if you need a dose of climate control for a few minutes.

I think it's relatively small compared to other branches and doesn't offer as many products. This branch is good for small gifts like jewellery and fashion accessories They do offer different styles to that in the big department stores and the gifts I've bought female friends tend to have gone down well so worth a look in!

I buy my hair gel from here, and without the Queen, I would have to travel way out into left field to get it. I have also noticed fabrics and other miscellaneous things on offer. On entry into the café (it so isn't a café) you may get the feeling you are in a small warehouse. The whole experience is best labelled as strange and left at that. If you need internet access, have afro hair, or want to make a dress or some drapes, Queen's Internet Café is for you.
