I can't believe how great the service was. Prices were fair but you don't get service like this at a big box part time costume store. I will go again when the time comes.

The woman at the front desk watched us like we were unsavory characters looking to loot the place. Not for me. EDIT: Owner of Xcite wrote a sassy and presumptuous private letter to me through Yelp stating she remembered me and my "male" friend (my friend was a girl) and that we had an altercation when nothing of the sort happened. When I wrote back stating thus, there was no reply. Proceed with caution, the owner isn't a quality personality.

This is one of the nicest Spirit Halloween stores I've ever shopped and that includes the one I worked at once!! This year's store is located at Northgate Mall in the old Sear's location. They are only using the lower level and the store is NOT connected to the mall so you have to use their entrance. It's very spacious and everything is displayed so nicely! What a GREAT selection of everything! Costumes, decor, socks, home decor! So much GREAT stuff! They have sections with favorites Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, and pretty much every horror movie icon. I've visited already a few times, you have to check for the new stuff!! The weird thing is I have yet to have any contact with any staff. Not a welcome, not a can I help you find anything, nothing. The store is great so I'm still giving it a 4 but it would have a 5 if the staff were more attentive. I will say both times, there were other people in the store but most of the staff seemed to be hanging out at check out. I'll still be checking in every week or so! I love Halloween!

I think this place is spooktacular! There's no booing around the bush…read more They have everything you would need for Halloween. Costumes...house decorations...party supplies. ..however is only open for a few months a year. I think my fave part of this shop is the demos of the deco. You can test out the creepy interactive displays. Maybe it's just me but the ones with the child voices and the creepy dolls are the best. Another cool aspect is they have flyers on the local Halloween happenings around town. .from hayrides to haunted houses. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the staff is not really attentive. Now I will say if you don't like Halloween or may be offended by sexy or gory costumes/items then you may not want to go. It's not likethat's the only kinds there but I just wanted to give fair warning.
