Not to be confused with Pretty City, which is any city which Barbi is visiting. This location of Party City is not bad and is usually not too busy down in League City, and we found a few cute things for Barbi when we were shopping here. So altogether not bad then. Went to their location yesterday to get some of the Ramadan/Eid decorations but couldn't find any. The reason - This is one of the smaller stores so they wouldn't get everything there The store is pretty big and pretty much has EVERYTHING you can think of. Party city announced they would carry these decorations in their stores! I gave a star rating for the employee who cared enough to suggest other options for something else I was looking for. read more

We waited 15 minutes to get service!! I sat there and watched the staff walk by maybe 15 times say I'll get your stuff then never come back. Terrible service long lines and wining kids, don't come here. read more

Very nice employee helped with my huge balloon order;) She was great at the counter. I do have one major concern though. While I was shopping there were at least 4 people stocking shelves and whatnot. It seemed like a lot of workers for not much work. Then all hell broke loose and there was a group of customers fighting. Screaming and yelling it was very disruptive and inappropriate behavior. I was shocked that the manager let it go on for nearly 5 minutes. I kept thinking they will be escorted out but no, the workers just walked around like nothing was going on. Correct me if I am wrong but my understanding is that it is the managers responsibility to keep their customers comfortable so they spend more money. Maybe next time I will find somewhere else to get my balloons. read more

This is a large store with everything you need for a party except the food and drink. If you are having a party, this should be your first stop for decorations, plates, cups, napkins, balloons, etc. My main complaint is they don't always have the shelves fully stocked. read more

Never I have ever had good service here! For example, today I am waiting in line and the phone rings. The person on the phone gets helped before I do. Mind you I have been waiting in line already for at least 10 minutes bc they were helping set up an order for another customer. You guys should be ashamed. Update to my review of 10/24/16. When I contacted the corporate office to lodge my complaint I asked for was told I would receive a phone call from the regional/district manager and to allow 72 hours. 23 DAYS later and no contact what so ever. It's no mystery that this particular location has such lousy customer service. Party City is on Ban Island! read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE- best place to get balloons! My girlfriends and I came here to look for balloons for our graduation photos. We were having a rough day because of poor customer service somewhere else. We were so impressed by how helpful a girl at the front who helped us blow up our 2019 balloons. Your employees were ignorant, rude & lazy. I came intoLeague City location, looking for things that they didn't understand, no one would help me look. I'm a totally disabled veteran with a service dog. THEN I paid for two Mylar balloons. The staff was impatient, obnoxious. Wouldn't allow me time at the counter to tie my balloons to a weight. Again, I'M DISABLED. I tried to get my balloons into my car. One, $9.98 flew off. I went back in and no one would help me get a replacement. Please go bankrupt. I had the most horrible experience of my life at this location. I had a coupon for $10 off $60 purchase. My total was $67. Because it wasn't $60 before taxes he refused my coupon. So I chose to purchase balloons to add to the cost and asked for orange balloons. They didn't have orange. So I asked for black. No black. So then I was going to settle for white, guess what... NO white. What the hell kind of party store doesn't have basic color balloons. When I showed my frustration at the incredible ignorance of the employee I asked to speak to the manager. Low and behold. The idiot says he was the manager. I could not believe it. I asked for his name he said it was Ray. I asked for his last name he said he was the only Ray and refused to provide a last name. What a shame. Party City hires such ignorant people for a job they are obviously not qualified for. I purchased the mask at the party city on Highway 290. The person who check me out left a tag that explodes with color if you try to remove it, on the mask. I didn't notice it because it was placed in a bag. It wasn't until I got home, all the way down in clear lake that I noticed it. I drove twenty five minutes to the nearest party city in League City with my recipt in hand. I was told by shelley the manager on duty that they would not take it back because they did not have a removal tool. When I asked to speak with her regional manager she called in front of me and did not allow me to speak to that person. He denied me to return or exchange this item. When I asked to speak to the person again the manager shelly refused to call him and told me I could leave my phone number, he would call me at his leisure. They simply told me that I would have to drive an hour north to return the item or have the tag removed. Horrible customer service they didn't even trie to work with me.
