For years, I have looked to Party City for supplies - with excellent service... Their online store has more options hence looking to order from there (but having the ease of returning items to the store if not needed). However this time around, returning unused items to the store was difficult - as no barcode was sent with the order confirmation email. I had contacted customer service twice but with no success. Mailing back the items but having to pay for shipping on my own was not fair. Customer service lacked a great deal this time for me... So disappointed with the service here. I was frantically working to gather balloons for my daughters birthday the next morning with the help off an associate. After having them blown up and paying I was informed they would only last four hours. The associate pointed to a sign that I had totally missed during our long conversation. They refused to exchange the balloons for a longer lasting version. I completely understand that it was my fault missing the sign but when receiving service I would have expected to be courteously told their shelf life. You know what I've always wanted in a costume/party store? A collection of very different things, arranged by color. I mean honestly, how else are you supposed to throw a decent Rubik's Cube party? Good sized store, great selection, and it's got everything from temporary hair dye, all sorts of costumes, all the way down to decorative paper plates and napkins. A fair amount of it is stuff you'd find at another store, somewhere, but it's very unlikely you'd find *all* this stuff at any other one store, and you'd never find it anywhere near as well organized! Also, props for having two entire aisles dedicated to current holidays - at the time I'm writing this, one for St. Patrick's Day and one for Easter. Entire aisles! That rotate seasonally! I went to go get my gender reveal balloon filled with confetti and helium. I showed the woman on my phone and told her I don't know the gender and want to be surprised. I paid and walked to the back of the store. I heard her call someone on the intercom to help with the balloon. Then I heard him yell "it's a boy!" Very loud and heard her same something inaudible and then something along the lines "shh she's here". I am devastated I found out through a stranger. I was robbed of the moment my husband had when we popped the balloon. PC, Please talk to your employees about being more discreet and no joking when dealing with a gender balloon. I'm so hurt that I want to buy a giant helium tank and never use Party City again. This was on Dec 29 around 11:30. Don't trust them with your big events in your life. read more

I have used Party City for many years and since my experience last Saturday, I will try my best not to shop there! I was needing help with balloons, there were 4 employees at the front, barely any other customers were in the store and they were so unhelpful. One girl showed me were bulk balloons were but ended up being the wrong color & they wouldn't let me return them because I had opened the bag (that is when I realized they were the wrong color blue). They did not have many things that we needed that most other Party City stores carry. It was an emergency stop off and they weren't helpful in what they provided. P.S. babies are born in many different shades. I am baffled as to why only caucasian babies were available in the baby shower isle. read more

Party City' management could take some lessons from Chick-fil-A concerning hiring GOOD employees that demonstrate good customer service qualities. I visited this store looking for guess what? Party supplies! When you walk in, ALL of the employees are behind the counter talking to each other (not helping customers). I had to call for help multiple times and the employee did not know the answer to my questions so I assumed she went to ask someone else. But she NEVER came back to try to help me. No one seems to care not even the young "Asst Manager". On top of that the Asst Manager lies to me that she checked the stock at another store. Do yourself a favor and order online. read more

Went in to try and exchange a 1.99 item. Cashier, Emily, rudely states, "you must have your receipt." to my young daughter. Day 2..Bring back the same 1.99 item with receipt ...same girl, Emily..." no you can't and will not give your money back." in the same rude manner. I had the receipt and she was sill RUDE. I asked for her last name to report her and she said, "it's none of your business." Hope you have lots of business bc I will never give Party City my business again. Emily is rude and lacks customer service ability. Party City needs people who can deal better with the public. Emily is AWFUL! Go to another store for your party needs. read more

This place reopened after the fire and during the grand opening - there were no specials or anything - it was just a "welcome to our rebuilt store" party. This place is expensive compared to non-party stores, so go to Target, Wal-Mart to buy your party favors and decor. Plus the dollar tree is cheaper for balloons - $1 for a Mylar balloon is reasonable, $5 is not. read more

I like going to Party City because they have a variety of colors for balloons and all types of party favors no matter the occasion.

Three employees stand idle behind the counter, while another employee answers a lady's questions. I stand there, waiting to check out. When the "working" employee moves on to check my purchases out, one of the idlers moves to check out another customer. read more

Had a horrible and avoidable experience at the store. Emily, the manager on duty was pathetic, Mitchell, the manager didn't fix it, owner never returned a call and since it's a franchise, corporate doesn't get involved. NEVER AGAIN and we did a lot with Party City last year with my event company. Online has more options anyway. Party City sells a product called Cello Wrap that it sells mixed in with its Gift Wrap. Looking at the product, it appears to be a gold color gift wrap, but when you open the product - you find out that it is see-through. I suppose that is what 'cello' means. What good is see-through gift wrap? That defeats the purpose of gift wrapping. Then, when attempting to return the deceptive product - they say they can't return it if it's been opened. What a racket!! I won't trust them for ANY purchases in the future. I found some nice gold foil gift wrap at Hobby Lobby. read more

There were 6 employees that I could see yesterday behind the counter and only 1 poor young lady running back and forth trying to help EVERYONE on a Sat. morning. The best I could figure the other 5 were paid to gossip and not care that there were people in line waiting to check out. Do the owners not care? For anyone reading this please save yourself my pain and go to the North Little Rock Party City where ALL of the employees are nice, helpful and you won't feel like you are being ignored. Cutest party favors for such a good price! But the customer service is awful not only does it seem like a crime to ask if they have a certain supply in the back! You'll get the answer " If it isn't on the shelf we don't have it" so nice but asking for high chair kits gets you the reply of "it's probably down there where it says first birthday stuff" Yes why thanks so much for the help! Thinking maybe the manager was gonna be nicer as he's ringing us up we hear "If you want me to go get lunch so bad someone else ring them up" I think I'll just stick to ordering stuff on their website from now absolutely ridiculous! read more
