In spite of my low expectations for what a balloon and party favor space can offer, I was more disappointed than I dared imagine on July 17th. While I had originally schedule a balloon delivery that day, my daughter's birthday party start time conflicted with the two hour window provided. Upon realizing this the day before, I called and cancelled the delivery, but the order. Together, the manager and I confirmed this to ensure that there was no miscommunication and I booked a separate courier to pick it up for me. Given that this was the first birthday since the pandemic for our young daughter, we wanted it to be special and made the extra effort to do so. Fast forward to my courier calling and explaining that Party City would not release the balloons to them inspite of her having all the necessary information. I then called and released the balloons to this woman in a very specific process again specifying my wishes. We agreed and hung up. Three phone calls later, I spoke with the same woman at Party City who said she would not release them to this other person... I repeated our earlier conversation citing my upset and the challenge of this as the party start approached. She then hung up on me... I subsequently remained on hold and my courier ultimately handed her phone to someone to authorize the release for the fourth time... To be hung up on after being yelled at by a Party City employee was not what I had imagined I would be dealing with over $200 later... I have since heard from others about their challenges here and would highly recommend seeking an alternative service. For the amount I paid and the efforts I made, this could have been avoided. read more

When I started no interviews just bring I'd and you can start --- OBVIOUSLY I KNEW ALREADY THAT SOMETHING IS GOING ON ... But hey I just wanted 20-25 hours how hard can that be ..... I find out what n first day that all the managers walk out and they hired 2 from CVS TO RUN A BIG BOX STORE -disaster...... If you want a job there and you due absolutely nothing But just show up your great ! So if you want a lot of hours ... you can be in recovery or an AX murder They hire anyone as it's like sure we hire and see who can survive... PERFECT POSITION FOR THOSE THAT DONT REALLY WANT TO WORK ..... As soon as I would punch in customer (s) where are you going to open a register I said NO -and I would say why due wait in line -1 cashier and most times blowing up balloons but not one customer cared to ask fir management ..if you want the balloons that they charge plus helium fees .. great.... DOLLAR TREE ALLOWS YOU TO CALL WITH YOUR ORDER AND ALL BALLONS ARE $1. Helium is the same balloons almost the same Yes dollar tree also doesn't have cashiers but atleast you can have ballons already and for so much less ! If I could rate this a -10 I would. Never again will I step foot in this store. I went in tonight to grab some last min st patty's stuff. The manager got upset with an employee and threw a pair of glasses and it came an inch from hitting my head. I am completely appalled by the actions of your management! You can find pretty much everything you need for your party here. I like this location better than the others since they have a larger selection and the staff is polite and friendly. It is always clean and you can find things easily. Check out the very back of the store for clearance items and always go to their website for coupons before you go. read more

Fairly friendly staff, if you can find them. The lines are always excruciatingly slow (one person for a line of 5-7 people is ridiculous). Prices tend to be higher, but they have a good selection of party essentials. However, their prices change and it doesn't always reflect on their price tags. Been there several times and the price ringing up has been $1 higher than the tag - takes forever to get it corrected because, again, NO staff upfront basically. read more

Horrible Service. I was the first in line for a register with about 8 people behind me. Only one register open even though there was enough people behind the counter to open several more registers. Everyone just talking and having a great old time and the one register that's open the girl can't make change. Over 20 minutes waiting while we were all totally ignored. I'd rather walk barefoot over broken glass before returning to that store. read more

This store is a little bit dirty and always crowded with people but sadly they don't seem to always have enough cashiers. I think that there is a lot in the store but it is a tad expensive read more

For party supplies, selection, balloons, and the organization of the place, I can't complain, which is why they get 3 stars. However, the manager, was so rude that we actually went back and returned our items simply because we found out during our transaction that the extremely rude man we dealt with was in fact the manager. While we were shopping, we didn't see any staff in the aisles and my boyfriend stood on a ladder to get a mask down on the top shelf. The manager came out told him to get down, which we would understand, but he did so as if he was talking to some kid goofing off. We are far from children, there to prep for a 35th birthday, so we didn't appreciate his tone. Then, the price on our item was wrong, so the cashier called the manager for a price check. He was rude during that interaction, too, and after checking the price, didn't let us know the results of his check and just ignored us and went to the computer to change it. So, as soon as we finished paying, we had decided to return it. The young cashiers there were friendly. The costume selection was lacking, but oh well, it's a party shop and not near Halloween. read more

Employees are lazy with a bad attitude. Unwilling to help. The 2 girls with black hair & lots of piercings/tattoos were bitchy & didn't help people standing in line until we asked them to. Customer service should come before all. Don't work in a customer service if you can't spare someone a smile or a better attitude. read more

I have gone here on multiple occasions to look for Red Sox merchandise (plates, cups, etc). When this store used to be iParty they stocked lots of merchandise year-round. Now that it is Party City, the selection of Red Sox merchandise is very slim. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options for Red Sox merchandise. I also didn't find the sales associates to be that friendly at all. You can bet that I am going to do my shopping elsewhere, and I suggest everybody else does the same. read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ignored and never acknowledged as a customer as I am standing in front of a female sales clerk blowing up balloons (3-13-16 @ noon) I wanted to buy 36 balloons for a company today and the female sales clerk asks a customer who came in after me and was standing behind me if she needed to pick up an order. Was I invisible? Walked out with nothing and WILL NOT RETURN to buy anything. Maybe the staff needs to be reminded that without customers, a business doesn't need to open their doors. read more
