Wow. I just read the negative reviews and I'm sad for those people because we had a really great experience with them. We met Hector and the other young lady who runs the place at their shop, and they gave us such a good price that we booked tables, tablecloths, and chairs with them for our wedding this past Saturday. We also booked Hector as our DJ because his rate was great and we got a good feeling that he knew his craft. They arrived on time on Friday for delivery and they even came in for a Sunday pick-up where other places charge you extra. Hector was a fantastic DJ - arriving early for set-up and he kept my crowd dancing all night long. What a sweetheart - we ended the party early and told him he could stop playing at 11pm, which would have only been 3 hours of playing, but he didn't want to cheat us out of our full 4 hour minimum. I let him stop early and I tipped him on top of that because he was so great. I would love to use them again. The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because some of the chairs were a little ripped and I want them to grow as a company and be mindful of keeping their equipment pristine so they can be even more successful. ;-) read more

I've only rented a small amount of items from this company and their service has been consistently good. I have only experienced picking up items from them and have not experienced deliveries. Pick up and dropoff was easy. Their office is in a complex that looks like an apartment complex rather than an actual office. But don't worry, it's legit ;) The items for rent are sturdy and is as depicted on their website. Service has been great! After some miscommunication initially, Hector accommodated our requirement to have the tables and chairs picked up from the venue before 12 midnight with a very competitive quote. (We asked for several quotes from other vendors which were way overpriced!) They were prompt in the delivery and pick up of the tables and chairs on the day of the event. I rented some equipment from these guys this past Saturday and I was highly disappointed. First off they were 2 hours late - no call to let us know. You call their number and no one answers and they leave no alternate number to call to check on delivery time. The equipment they brought was filthy. I asked when they would pick up the equipment they said maybe Sunday maybe Monday and didn't give a time. They told me to leave the equipment outside. I called them back today to express how disappointed I was and spoke to a manager and asked them to make it right and the "manager" basically told me that that they can do nothing and that basically that we did use their equipment. In a nutshell - I do not recommend them to anyone else. Very unprofessional and their customer service just sucked! read more

We used them for our son's 2nd birthday party, we ordered a bouncer with a generator, tables, chairs and a cotton candy machine. We held the party at a park and needed to buy an extra certificate for having a jumper in a public park. The pricing was reasonable, but we had a major problem with the generator during the party. The delivery truck arrived on time, set up the jumper and generator (our only source of power at the park) and left. Just before the guests arrived the generator broke down. Deflating the jumper (with no kids inside thankfully). We called the company and they said their driver was busy making deliveries and would not be able to help us until "later." Well after dozens of phone calls their final resolve was that the owner was also the DJ for the company and was busy at a party. Everyone else who works their does something at other party locations during the weekend. They said they would have the driver talk to us when they picked up the equipment after the event. We were left with a driver who accused us of damaging the equipment and an owner who avoided calling us back. After about two weeks of dodging our phone calls we threatened to sue for the refund. They eventually gave most of our money back. My party guest were left looking at the deflated jumper and a cotton candy machine that didn't work because we had no power...it was a nightmare. A few months ago we rented tables and chairs for our son's baptism to be delivered and they never showed up. Getting someone on the phone was an ordeal and they showed up so late I was almost late to my son's baptism. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them again for my son's first birthday. I reserved chairs and tables and when we showed up to pick up, no reservation had been made. DO NOT BOOK THE DJ HECTOR. If I could leave a 0 star I would. My husband and I got married on Nov. 3, 2017 and Hector, the Dj that we hired from this company, no called and no showed. Then, when everyone was trying to call him he never answered. When we finally got ahold of him he had the gull to say that my husband told him the wrong day.....COME ON. We have emails to prove that we told him the right day all along. I guess we should've known than to give him another chance after he showed up to our initial meeting an hour and a half late. Giving him the benefit of the doubt was the worst mistake we could've made. Thanks to him our wedding had to start 40 minutes late so we could figure out how to get our song to play for at least when we walk down the isle. Because of this the timing of our entire wedding was off so we had to rush through everything to avoid a $500 fee. He stole time from us and robbed us from being able to have a care free day. I can't give any star on this because I had a very bad experience with them. 4 months ago we went to their shop so that I can talk to them personally and they gave us a good price so I thought they are people we can trust. I even called them a month before our event to confirm the time of the event. 2 wks before the party I called again to make sure everything is confirm. Then after a few days the secretary called me and telling me that there is a $40 additional fee for same day pick up, I was frustrated bec. I talked to them 3 times and they didn't tell me about it. I felt trap bec. They know I can't cancel with 2 days left before the party. Those 3 times that I have confirmed the time they supposed to deliver the tables and chairs, at the time of the party they didn't show up until past 2pm and our party starts at 2:30. There are guests already and they were the one who set up the tables and chairs bec. The delivery people just dropped it and left right after I gave the money. I called the owner and he was really rude and can't even give us time when the supplies will be delivered. He even threatened us that he will ask his delivery guy to go back if we don't keep our calm. How can you calm down if you know that there will bw no tables n chairs in your long planned party. Everything is there even the foods and balloons, all that missing is the tables n chairs. So I told him that if he do that I will make sure that I will sue them bec. I have given them the down payment without hesitations bec. I thought that they can be trusted. To make it more worst the kids chairs I ordered is not complete. I ordered 25 and they brought 22. This establishment should not be operating and they can't be trusted. Good price but very poor customer service, very rude owner and even the driver is very rude. We called to reserve a jumpy from this company and had it set up to deliver around 12 on a saturday. Around 1:30 we called to find out where they were and they decide to inform us that they were not coming due to rain. When we scheduled the delivery they did say even if it rained we would still have to pay and we said ok and we're fine with that. Mind you there is no rain as of now at this point. Our son and his friends are now extremely disappointed and have nothing to do at his birthday party. This company is extremely unprofessional and couldnt even call to inform us they werent coming and even worse they have disappointed our child, nor were they sympathetic. I've used Party Planners Plus three times in the last three years. When we initially ordered chairs and tables from them, they were clean and looked relatively new. The bounce house had a worn look to it, but seemed clean. They arrived a little early to drop off the rentals, but returned a few hours after they said they would to pick up. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to get advance notice that they'd be a little late. The second time we rented from them was for chairs and tables a year and a half ago. The tables and chairs had a very worn look to them, but seemed clean and arrived on time and pick up was on time. Third time was this past August and the chairs and tables arrived looking very well-worn and filthy. We had to hose everything off before we scrubbed it all down with disinfectant solution. The tablecloths were clean and looked like they had just been dry cleaned. The pick up was prompt. They are very reasonably priced and if you pay in cash, you get a discount. The drawback is the quality of the tables and chairs. They really need to switch out the chairs and tables when they start to look shabby and they need to really make sure their rentals are clean. read more

Just hired this company for my daughter's party this weekend. Their prices were the best and they were professional during the ordering process. Most importantly they were extremely professional and helpful when delivering/setting up and made sure the huge water slide was all set up correctly before they left. They were also very early with their delivery which was great so that we could be assured everything was set up in time for our party. Friendly staff, took my order, gave me a quote perfect. Inexpensive for what i had planned to pay. Jumpers, 8 tables and 65 chairs for $175 Great Deal. Party was on a Sunday, i had gotten a call from them to confirm the delivery date. Unfortunately, i was at work and was unable to answer the call. But i thought not a problem good service for calling to confirm. Sunday came... I was told they would be in before 2pm which is when the party started. For party planners... you know how stressful it can be...I called their phone number to make sure they would be arriving. Of course no one answer. Their business is closed on Sundays!! I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thinking they would arrive. They called right? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! 130pm came by and NOTHING!!!! I literally wanted to cry. i had 70 guests!! coming in. Who does business this way! Could have at least told me "If you do not confirm the day before we will not come!!!!" Thank god!!!!!! They did not ask for payment! I would have been screwed. i work at a Dr's office when we appoint and call to confirm even if they do not answer we Do NOT BAIL on them!!!!!!!! UGHHHHHH!!!!
