This place doesn't even deserve ONE star. The place needs a renovation, it is crowded, unorganized and everything they do on the animals are unsanitary and no use of gloves. Doctor comes in barefoot and is almost never in proper medical attire. Someone please investigate/inspect this place and shut it down, you should not be taking your beloved pets here. I need to start off with noting that this encounter with my 41 year old BNG Macaw would be the first time Dr. Marlane Seigel will be seeing my baby. I did not bring her a bird that was in great condition, so that needs to be said right up front. Dr. Seigel did a lot of tests on my baby and found many different things that required a procedure she was not able to do at her facility. With that being said, she did give me several options for hospital for my Hawkeye. Dr. Seigel assured me that she would be in constant contact with whoever it is I took him to so that once the procedures were done she would take it from there. I took my boy to Blue Pearl in Clearwater for these treatments, the doctor there is a very capable young lady that conferenced Dr. Seigel in and together they did what was needed for Hawkeye. Unfortunately, it did not have the results we had hoped for. My boy was, for lack of any other words, dying. He spent 2 days in Blue Pearl, and the doc there talked to Dr. Seigel who had come up with a treatment plan. I picked him up, held him tight, went home, and the next morning my boy passed away. I have to say, Dr. Seigel is one of the most positive, hopeful and comforting souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I know that my Hawkeye just loved her too, even if it were only for a brief period. This lady will not give up, she only asks that you don't either. I had no choice and am now in the grieving process, which I am sure is going to take me sometime. This wonderful lady has even called me to see how I was doing. I only wish I had known her much earlier on, but unfortunately, I was not even in this state. I highley recommend this place, the products she uses, the hopes that she spreads and the love for your baby like no other can give. I am broken, but I will heal, don't think twice when it comes to your pets, whether its a bird, dog, cat, gerbel, or whatever. I called this vet because I was told that they treat Chinchillas and it is very hard to find an exotic vet. When the phone was answered I said hello and I asked if they treat Chinchillas. I was answered with a very snippy tone of voice "what would a Chinchilla need?" I answered by saying he needs to be seen because he has lost a lot of weight and is showing signs of being sick. There was silence on the phone, no response, so I told her never mind. If this is the initial encounter with just trying to find out if they treat chinchillas and making an appt,, I think we are off to a bad start. Someone like the person I talked to should not be the first point of contact. If they are snippy from the get to, I can assure you there will be no compassion for my pet that I love. read more

Dr Marlene has been a miracle worker helping us with a kitty cat we adopted from the shelter who was dumped there because he has cancer. He's a purebred Bengal and she is so incredibly knowledgeable. We are forever grateful to her and absolutely shocked at the bad reviews but we see all the five star reviews here and understand that people may be bitter if they lose their animal if they go there too late. I don't know that he won't still have cancer, but he will have a better quality life and be comfortable because of her. And actually maybe buy more quality time. read more

Caution with this vet and vet clinic for these below reasons: 1. If your pet is heat intolerant, be careful as this vet will only work with clients on the front porch (no clients are allowed to come into the vet clinic). When I requested a special accommodation for my senior pet who is disabled and heat intolerant to come inside where there is AC, Dr. Siegel said I was being pushy (despite my only asking one time). This time of year (Spring/Summer) the afternoons in this part of Florida are at least 90 degrees outside. 2. Office manager (Alyssa) who is Dr. Siegel's daughter is not friendly and will not speak to you on the phone. She only will deal with clients via email and can be rude with snippy comments despite my genuine questions. The problem with their staff wanting to deal with you via email mainly is that there were two separate times that I had not have received email responses after a week would pass meanwhile you are concerned for the health of your pet as you wait and need their specific help. 3. When you first contact the office about an appointment, you will be promptly and rudely told that you have to first take Dr. Siegel's mandatory Pet Parent Education course ($ 200) as they won't even speak to you or talk to you even if you are just trying to first find out about certain accommodations with a special needs pet. 4. Although I was okay with taking the Pet Parent Education course for $ 200, I was also told before arriving one would also need to have a $ 250 online/phone pre appointment with Dr. Siegel as well. So, you are initially investing about $ 450 without your pet ever being touched/treated. In my opinion, if people are to be involved with healthcare, they should be kind especially when you are dealing with the stress of a pet who is struggling with a chronic and possible life threatening issue. read more

5+ STARS.....VEG referred us to Dr Siegel after our 5yr old rat terrier recelived 2nd degree thermal burns from another vet. She arrived in very bad shape. Not eating and reluctant to move. After Ozone, hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic therapy, therapeutic laser and nutritional support she is doing amazing!!! She still has weeks of collagen wraps to finish this awesome process. Jen our tech has become more like a second mom to our Dottie. She shared Dotties daily progress with us, along with short videos of her getting better. We first found Pasco Veterinary Medical Center when our puppy was having severe diarrhea and other symptoms that had us very worried he might have Parvo. We called multiple emergency vets and all were booked up until we called Dr. Siegel who told us to head right there. They even took great precaution to bring him through a side door and straight to a separate area, just in case it did turn out to be Parvo. They did the test immediately and we were very relieved to hear the test came back negative, so then they sent off some stool samples to try and find the cause of his problems. From the time we walked through the door the first time, everyone was so nice and knowledgeable and helpful. The office is beautiful also with hand-painted artwork covering nearly every wall and floor surface. When the stool sample results came back and still didn't show any definite causes, they had us try switching his food since his diarrhea was still just as bad. Within 24 hours of switching to the new food exclusively, his poop was completely solid. There was way less of it also, since his old food was producing a lot more waste. You can tell everyone at Pasco Veterinary Medical Center has a passion for helping animals in the most natural way possible, with the perfect mix of conventional medicine and techniques when necessary also. Our Yorkie was diagnosed with lymphoma at age 8 so we decided since it wasn't curable we would do what we could to give her (us) more time together if possible. We lost are little girl while under the care of Dr. M. Siegel in Lutz, Fl. She recommended a coffee enema and suggested that she would do it and call me to pick her up later. The staff and doctor have always been great to my German Shepherd. Keep in mind he doesn't trust anyone easily but the stuff made him feel welcome. I take him to the center for his annual vaccinations and I love that the doctor only gives him the ones he needs. He was recently bit by a lose dog. I was afraid to let him go inside the building by himself since he is a little bit difficult. The doctor explained the treatment and after care. He walked out of the building wagging his tail! This lady this a con, do not let her trick you into anything, your pet will not benefit from her~ this so called world renowned doctor. She is only out to make money off you. We had decided it was time to have the dog put down, as she had Lymphoma, as she had already done chemo at Blue Peral the year prior. I was looking for someone to come to my home and put her down, and well some how I called them and they talked me into coming down WORST DECISION EVER :( We brought her in they rushed her away and did whatever she said she did in the building, We were not aloud inside. "COVID" HA This is not what we had discussed on the phone, she had said she would give me her opinion on what she though (if she could help or not) The dog was to far gone and it was time, but she did not say that. The lady talked me into getting money from an app called Scratch pay, but make sure you ask for "a lot as much as you can get" she said so you don't have to do it again tomorrow~~ SHE WANTS IT ALL. She charged $300 5% just to take the Scratch pay that she did not mention that. She said it would last months before the money would be used up, It took 6 days... The first day was $1822, day two $985, next a $300 charge, next $760, next $750, next $770, then $605 then the last charge was $7.64 then the money was gone, She had used it up right down to the penny... They finally carried her out because she could no longer walk and and the money was gone. I was just disgusted on this "great doctors" actions. I didn't want my dog anywhere near that building. She gave my dogs last week of life a living nightmare!!!!! She should be ashamed of herself! She will talk over you and not care what you say, because she is going to do whatever it take to get the money. PLEASE do not let he trick you, as that it what she's good at being a con!! Update: I took my dog to another vet who tested him and he did not suffer from poluted food as Dr. Siegal insisted to claim in order to sell her branded food OR suffer from leaky gut which iwas causing inflammation as she diagnosed. His problem was tottally misdiagnosed ( in my opinion, on purpose, just to sell supplements and food). He got antibiotics and another medication and he is better than ever. I DISPUTED THE OUTRAGEOUS CHARGES OF $1,318 AND I WON THE CASE SINCE I HAD FACTS TO PROVE MY CASE. As a consumer, FTC gives you the right to dispute any charges for unsatisfactory products or services. Save all your receipts , build your case and exercise your rights as a consumer. read more

On Monday my little dog is diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis and treated with modern medicine. On Tuesday he was actively dying. I took him in to see Dr. Siegel. I had to carry him in period he could not stand on his own. He could not eat or drink on his own. I should mention that hes 15 and a 1/2 years old. She did a full body work up had radiographs and ultrasound and blood work done within 5 hours. Her 1st body treatment included ozone and Chiropractic and a ray of different integrated holistic medicine. I picked him up that night and he walked down on his own. I took him back the next day and had another full day with doctor Siegel and hes nothing Is short of a Christmas miracle. I am not happy I that I have to leave this review but I am extremely disappointed by my recent visit. I have been going to Dr. Siegel since moving to Tampa 6 months ago, I drive about 45 min each way because I truly believe in the more holistic approach and have seen my dogs thrive is that type of setting. Though I do not believe I have high expectations for my vet but I do expect a Veterinarian to at least come talk to me about my animal if I am paying for them to get examined by them. I brought my new puppy by to get his round of shots, and get checked out after having been bit in his mouth (we had to go to the emergency room for this). Our appointment was originally suppose to be at 11 AM but in the morning I got a call to move my appointment back to 1:30 PM, I was flexible and moved the appointment. I arrived a bit early which I did not expect to be seen early but the staff member (Tessa who is absolutely great and extremely communicative) came over to inform me that Dr. Siegel would be 15 min late (so 1:45pm, 15 min after my appointment time). The issue that I had was not that she was late but that she did not even come over to discuss anything about my puppy, in the past Dr. Siegel would come talk to me about my dogs and what's going on and the findings she did not do this yesterday. I only had one interaction with her about my puppy and she just complimented how cute he was from across the parking lot while walking to a patient that came in after me. I just didn't think it was professional at all. The only information or update I got about my pup was from Tessa. After I paid and left, I then realized no one talked to me about the bump in my puppies mouth so I had to call back and ask to get information. I just wanted to write a review on Dr. Siegel. We had 3 Dachshunds and my mother had one. I started going to Dr. Siegel like 13 years ago , as one of my dogs had the bad back. By the time I made it to her I had to leave my dog for treatments , which I honestly thought I would not be picking up my dog alive, as when I dropped her off that dog would hollow just when she moved her head. She was in so much pain. (another vet sent me to her) When I picked her up , she was as good as new. Dr. Siegel told me to switch her food to all Raw. So we did. Her back was never a problem and more just maintenance and I treated her back like it was glass. She is the only Dachshund we have left. Our two and my moms have crossed the rainbow 2 at the age of 18 and one at the age of 19. Now Dandi (the one left) is now 18, she recently went down on her hind leg (had no feeling). My husband and I thought for sure , well you know, but a trip and treatments with Dr. Siegel and this 18 year old dog is walking again. So that makes twice Dr. Siegel has saved my dog. She will be 19 in January and I feel pretty confident we will get to celebrate that birthday. I cannot say enough about the special touch God has given this lady. Threw out the years of knowing Pasco Veterinarian I have witness Dr Siegel take this office to a different level. She is always learning and expanding her practice and putting her knowledge to her practice and products, which in turn benefits all her clients and our fur babies. NEVER! NEVER ! EVER ! AGAIN ! Will we come back to this vet again. If you love your pets please do not bring them to this vet. The fact that Dr. Siegel and her entire staff were not wearing any masks during times like these with COVID-19 going around and also the fact that her office was completely empty on a Saturday morning Were "red flags" I should've known. Me and my two children brought our baby bird to Dr. Siegel for a check up and nail trimming. It was our first time there. Before she even checked our bird she asked about the food he was eating so I showed her a picture of the bag and she didn't Seem interested at all. She began to lecture and belittle me that I needed to put my bird on an organic food and she went on to say that if I don't check ingredients or check labels before buying food also how our water from a filtered fridge from home is not good for our birds, basically she was implying we were giving our bird garbage.she was very very unprofessional the whole visit , she was aggressive with our bird during the check up to where my son began to cry. She was also very unprofessional with the technician that was trimming our birds nails which by the way he had a red nail afterwards but of course she said it was OK. Our bird took a few bites at her and who can blame him. She put him back in the cage and then tried twice to get him out of the cage, it seem to me like she didn't get to complete his check up that was $84 later . When we were about to leave she proceeded to tell me that the masks that my children were wearing to protect them from the COVID-19 virus were more harmful than good. My two children did not want to be nowhere near this doctor " if we can call her that" she seems like a very sad and miserable human being. Dr. Siegel spent more time lecturing us about the toxin in our birds diet and water and come to think about it she is the toxin For our pets. This visit was a mistake that will not be repeated. An absolutely horrible horrible establishment. Dr. Marlene Siegal Should be ashamed of herself. I took my very ill Rabbit there to be euthanized in their care. I was informed that the Rabbit will be taken care of in the best way possible and that I would receive his ashes. Days go by, weeks go by, months go by with no word as to what happened to my pet. Finally, Dr. Siegel Calls me with no empathy or sympathy in her voice at all .. she just seemed very annoyed that she had to confront me. Long story short my pet rabbit was placed in a bag to be picked up to be thrown in the garbage because that's what they do as I was told from one of her staff members when the right label is not placed on the pet to be cremated. I was furious and heartbroken. I was very angry when I called that office the next day I yelled at the receptionist because I could not believe they allow this to happen. Dr. Siegel Said it was just a mistake and there's nothing that they can do. Bluntly and that she will repay me all charges but the check. I was told from her that I made one of her staff members cry because the way I was yelling. She was more concerned about her staff member having here her feelings hurt, rather than showing some concern Of what happened .. my feelings as a customer and what happened to my pet under her care.. I have no memory of my pet as far as his ashes , just the memories of the joy he gave me while he was alive. I would not recommend anyone going to this place! I was mailed a check. .. and you would think a sympathy card would halve been enclosed with it as well, but no ... just a check! This is a horrible establishment...my pet should not have experience this horrible treatment. DR. SIEGEL Should try to actually be at the office more often ..instead of showing off what her hobbies are for example with horses etc. etc. she should be at her office training her staff on how to be careful and professional. If I could write a 0 review I would. I brought my pet in because she has an abscess a month ago. She had been coming to them for 2 & 1/2 yeras. We did over $1500 worth of testing and I was told we would get results 2-4 weeks later for most tests. They called me and told me they recommend a 2-3 week therapy that she could share the cost of with another pet her size (who I was later told was 3-4 times her size and a lot worse then her for test results) . We did 2 weeks of therapy and then when I started to question week 3 costs, which was more than week 1 and week 2 for less treatment, I talked with the Dr Seigel who completely talked over me and wouldn't even let me explain my situation and my dogs situation without trying to make me feel guilty before I hung up on her. We hadn't even gotten results back when I had already invested over $4000 in therapy and testing in approximately 4 weeks. She wouldn't even let me explain to her what my questions were. After a couple attempts of trying to ask Dr Seigel questions, I said I was disconnecting call before hanging up. A few minutes later I hung up on her. After spending well over $7k+ at their facility over the last 2 1/2 yrs, it's sad that because I didn't continue a super expensive therapy based on what they were expect me to to spend and recommend that I got an email a few minutes after disconnecting call with dr Seigel that my pet was no longer going to be serviced by them. (for the record, the 2 weeks of therapy, I would drop my dog off and pick it up, and wasn't given any progress of how it was doing for it's therapy.) This is the feeling I got from the very beginning, that if I didn't pay for all the services that they recommend (sometimes without explanation) that they would just shut me out. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to take my fur child there.....As of tonight, we have gotten an email that my fur child will no longer be serviced there. Just hope that they will have the curtesy to give us test results for the testing she had 3-4 weeks ago thru their facility. The email that was sent to me says that they I was talking over them, which is inaccurate. They are just looking for a way to protect themselves. Dr Seigel has a way of talking over You and shutting you down.. Please pull recorded calls to hear how Dr Seigel talk over me....reason I hung up. I didn't want to continue to let her talk over me. I absolutely love and trust Pasco Vet!! My Rhodesian Ridgeback was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) in March of 2019. She was given 3 months or less to live by a respected veterinary oncologist. Guess what?! My girl is still with us and THRIVING. That diagnosis was more than 2 years ago. I went to Dr. Siegel as a last ditch effort to save my dog, and it was the best decision I have ever made. It was a situation that seemed hopeless. Dr. Siegel agreed to an appointment, even though there was no room for an appointment that day. She dug deep into what led up to my dog's health crisis, and I left that day feeling hopeful for the 1st time since my dog was diagnosed. Dr. Siegel is serious about finding the root cause of the problem. It has been a long road, but the treatments and protocol were natural and holistic. I wanted to do whatever I could for my girl, and Dr. Siegel, Alyssa, Jen and Tessa have been with me every step of the way. I am appalled at the review left by Crystal F here. It is obvious this person was looking for a cheap, quick fix. This is your beloved pet! Quality, species appropriate food is critical for every animal. I have seen people who refuse to follow any advice the vet gives them, and still complain that their animal is sick, yet Dr. Siegel just keeps working with them. (She has WAY more patience than I do). Many come from other practices, like I did, as a last resort, but do not want to follow simple, logical advice. I don't know how she is able to keep helping people who don't want to be helped. We love you guys! My kids completed homeschool in the office, while our dog got cancer treatments. They learned so much while we were there. I cannot recommend this veterinary practice more, they are wonderful :) read more

i still think i am having a bad dream. after complaining i never received any response what so ever so after several days i also gave a several day warning before making any comments this office may be good for treating sick dogs with alternative medical treatments, but i must say it has been my worst experience that i have had. i went to the pasco vet office for possible future natural care. when i went in i was sold by the dr. siegals daughter on a consultation up to two hours for $155 and i could have all of my questions answered and go over what i am feeding my dog and all other health-related issues. i love my little 6 lb chihuahua or i would never have done this i really wanted to know all i could to take the best care of him. dr. siegal motivation was to sell services only not just a consultation but at several hundred more in services, some i may have gone for but on a separate appointment when i did not jump at that moment and buy her services, the dr. had no interest in me or my dog and did not even say goodbye after out 45 to 50 min. sort of like a car salesman he looses interest if the sale is not made on that first visist i always am flexible when making appointments i do not squeeze a busy person rushing so i booked an appointment and the times got mixed up so by two hours i left and came back and waited over an hour i decided to reschedule since i was tired after my initial two error than another hour wait, even though the doctor agreed to squeeze me in, but i wanted a relaxed consultation. i went in with my dog up to date and with a recent physical. here is the shocker i am still in disbelief what transpired and what i received a waste and terrible consult i was given. dr siegal was giving me a sales presentation, on her services and mentioned several times that she would have her on food on the market soon. i had prepared with all my dog food wrappers cleaned and in a folder and a file with my dogs veterinarian records. the doctor also knew i just watched 7 hours of a dog video on preventing dog cancer. dr gave me a science lecture on internal mechanisms of digestion, which would have been good for a science class. i had a good idea about theses concepts i am very well aware of natural eating i lived with natural health practitioner dr for years. the worst part the dr only glanced at one of my wrappers of snacks when i handed it to her and made one brief comment and she would never have even looked at his records had i not almost forced them on her. i was very concerned about his vaccines. at one point she mentioned one ear has was and he may have an infection and left it at that, great where do i go now? when i left the office i called and said to her daughter and said i never even found out about if my heartworm medicine is healthy and in a very rushed manner said we sell heartworm topical and some yo take, now id min good ?? i have a supply of it, i still do not know. i believe in as much natural medicine as possible and would give my dog natural remedies. i felt this office was a money magnet people with sick dogs may get results and i am sure pay the price. when i wrote an email an email and asked for the price list i was emailed a paper illegible because it a not meant for me only a sales tool while in the office. i was also promised links to some of what she spoke about and after i asked for the links i was sent a link for natural meat for humans and other links to but natural food and supplements for people and some of which was commissionable to the doctor, nothing for dogs read more

Dr. Siegel was not kind to us. She suggested that sometimes nature knows what's best and we should let our little rescue animal go or be euthanized because of bad teeth. If I knew then what I know now, I would have had a skilled surgeon remove the teeth and simply feed him soft food. I loved him so much & now I see others who have successfully done this and the animal lives a full life without pain. She also gave him oral medication meant for injection & didn't care enough to add the fruit flavor for him, just bitter medicine. read more

This is a special thanks to Dr M. she did everything in her power to help my service pet! She and her staff went above an beyond to help me and my service dog. We had endured a long and drawn out journey in relocating to the area. The trip had dried consequences for my dog, he was in critical condition, I knew no Vet's or emergency services, I had googled but got no answers, and when redirected the service was not available, Than I reached out to friends and family in the area! They in turn reached out to their friends & family! We were directed to Pasco Vet. not familiar with the area, google maps got us there in great time , they were waiting for us, Dr M did everything in her power to help keep my pet who was by this time in total heart distress. We've been going to the Pasco Vet for a couple of years now, as we have several pets. Both our dog and cat have experienced arthritis, on seperate occasions; it was so bad in our dog that he at one point couldn't even stand. Dr. Siegel recommended new food and a chiropractic adjustment on both occasions along with a new diet. After our dog received the adjustment, he could stand up and walk again! Our cat didn't have as severe arthritis as our dog, however he did appear to walk better after the adjustment and was much less distressed once we returned home. read more
