We had been out to quite a few nice restaurants and although there were just 2 people working there, we had some of the best customer service. The gentleman working there who said he was from India was so kind and made us feel right at home. Even though he didn't make our food, he still engaged in great conversation. The gentleman that made our food (pictures) even took the time to walk us a block down the road to show us straight shot directions back to our hotel. Thank you for the great experience!!

Upon arrival, the owner offered the best seat on the boat (pontoon boat) which was docked right across from the restaurant. However it afforded great views of the town and harbor. For my appetizer, I had the warm octopus and potato salad and it was wonderful. The octopus was tender and nicely prepared. For my main, I had the seafood pasta. The pasta was of course prepared al dente and the clams, mussels, shrimp and langostino were all fresh and perfectly prepared. To accompany the meal I had a great bottle of prosecco. Throughout the entire meal the service was nothing short of exceptional. The entire staff was attentive and ensured the wine glass was always full. I would certainly return on a future visit to S.M. Ligure.
