We stay here in a privately owned condo each time we visit DI. The units are very comfortable, secure and well-planned. There are plenty of pools of varying sizes within feet or a short walk from any condo. The sense of community and friendliness is great. You are within walking distance of the island's store, a couple of convenience stores with quick-service food, a few restaurants, churches, post office and police station. This development is on the bay side of the island. Fishing off the docks is great fun. The beach is a short drive or bike ride away. Most units have great views of the bay, the bridge and a rockin sunset. Dolphins can be seen playing in the bay and sometimes around the docks. We love it here. read more
