Locally owned and well run with a menu full of homemade dishes. They grow olives on a local farm so make sure you sample some. Since they grow olives they also press their own olive oil which is excellent. The piri-piri is also homemade with their olive oil instead of cheap sunflower oil. The fig with cheese and the chicken wings piri-piri was fun. The fresh fish looked great. If you only stop in for the cheesecake then you will have made a great stop. read more

Loved this small intimate place. And such a welcoming menu for a vegetarian! Spain and Portugal are such meat laden places, it was a delight to see real vegetarian and vegan options. The bread and olive oil testing is a must. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Don't miss this sweet place! read more

This is a wonderful little restaurant on a side street off the river and close to Largo de Portagem square. Original tapas style dishes and larger ones including a memorable pesto pasta dish. I will be thinking about the sautéed shitaki mushrooms and the seasonal veggie dishes for a while. The restaurant specializes in cooking and celebrating olive oil and introduces it into almost every dish. Indoor and outdoor seating available. read more

History
Established in 2016.
Because we love making Olive Oil and promoting the Portuguese Olive Oil industry we decided to dedicate our restaurant to using Extra Virgin Olive Oil and working with the best farmers from Portugal.
Meet the Business Owner: Marije P.
We are a young couple Dutch/Portuguese and changed our lives by having the restaurant and olive farm so our kids could enjoy a healthier lifestyle living in the countryside.
