I called regarding some die cast, and the employee speaking to me was incredibly rude and short, but not until he realized he wasn't interested in what I had, of course! I work in retail and wouldn't dare yelling thank you in the middle of a potential customer's conversation and then hanging up. Im sorry but that deserves a 1 star review. Maybe your employees should be a little more cordial. Hobby shops are a dying breed these days and acting like that certainly won't help you stay in business. read more

i called this place asking if they buy pokemon and yugioh cards. They said yes. i asked if they would able to give me what the cards were worth. They said they would match any price on a reputable source. I drove all the way there and I went in and was told that the guy who buys the cards wasnt there that day. So, obviously I wasnt thrilled but I went back a few days later after calling and making sure that the Nick was there. He was. I brought all of my cards. And he barely glanced through any of them. He did not purchase a single one even though I had did my research and found that a lot of my cards were worth a good deal of money. This was not a short trip, it took almost 30 mins to get there both times and thats not even including the terrible traffic. Both times I called I could of been informed that they were only looking for specific cards instead of making me drive that far for no reason. read more

They are still in business as an internet only operation due to the buildings owner looking to redevelop/sell the property. PTH is a one man operation and can now be found at many of the local toy and aviation collectible shows. Bill (the owner) has always had a great selection of diecast models of aircraft, cars and fire trucks from almost every manufacturer plus other collectibles. He was always willing to search for the releases that you were looking for if he didn't have them.
