We ordered here for lunch at work and I had never heard of it, but previous yelp reviews recommended the Cajun pasta, so I got it. I added blackened chicken, peas, and bacon. The creaminess of the sauce and blackened chicken were such a great compliment. And the added smokiness from the bacon was a plus! I'll have to go fine in soon and try more items!

Cajun blackened chicken with Penne pasta. Recommend.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the last two weeks. I went while my wife was out of town, then we went together this week. Both times I had the Cajun blackened chicken with Penne pasta (no onions per my request ) and it was very good. Great job on the chicken! Well cooked but still very moist. I wish I knew the secret on that. My wife had chicken Alfredo with broccoli and she liked it also. Atmosphere is basic. Kind of a mom & pop (mostly take out) place but they about 6 tables for dining in. Best practice would be to share a meal or take the rest home. Regrettably I ate it all both times.

I was really impressed with this little mom and pop Italian run restaurant. I was having to eat low protein high carb, so pasta sounded great. I did the Alfredo with fettuccine noodles and added mushrooms, onion, and spinach. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread as a side. Who doesn't love cheese and garlic? The pasta was the perfect texture and the Alfredo tasted delicious. There are lots of options to choose from from noodles to sauces to toppings as well as premade bowls. The garlic cheese bread was amazing. Gooey and cheesy and packed full of garlic. There is a small spot for indoor eating and lots of orders seem to go. Everyone was friendly though and the food didn't take terribly long. I will definitely try it again in the future.

This pasta was so good!! It took a while to get, most likely because it's fresh/made to order, but it was so worth it! The Cajun chicken pasta was so flavorful and the pasta (I chose angel hair) was perfectly cooked- nice and soft. The chicken was also fantastic, especially in the sauce. The place is like a fast casual restaurant, you order at the register but there's tables/chairs if you wanted to sit down and eat. The only thing I wish was different was the portion size. Didn't feel like I got a great amount- wish there was a little more.

Stopped in to order take out for lunch based on reviews. I would give the pasta's with chicken a three and my husband gives the Greek Salad a 4 but would have given a 5 if they would have had the classic Greek peppers in the salad. If I were to do over the chicken, I would recommend blacken vs grilled.

So super yummy!! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavors! I'll definitely be back! Mind you, the decor leaves a lot to be desired. There were cracks in the padded chairs, and in general, it's not a very bright and vibrant place to eat. However... the delicious food makes up for it!

Great concept makes getting a variety of very good pastas and sauces without spending a lot of waiting. The pasta is cooked fresh when you arrive, and it's down to a science. All our pasta was cooked perfectly. Carbonara with grilled chicken over fettuccine was very good. I could have put a pinch of salt in it, but that's just me and I never did. Lefour over penne was so good. A sauce with smoked Gouda that was very well balanced and not overpowering. Cheese bread was good but not memorable. Worth getting, but it's not what will bring you Back for more. 5 star for low cost, great food, awesome concept, and friendly staff.

Stopped here because they were on the gluten free app. I was pleasantly surprised, the food and service is excellent, atmosphere isn't much but I'll definitely come back!

We had a pleasant casual dinner here, but felt that the food was just OK overall. I was a bit surprised considering all the rave reviews they have. My wife can't eat gluten, so we were very happy to see that all their sauces are gluten-free, and they have a gluten-free penne pasta as well. I had the Cajun Penne with Blackened Chicken. The flavor was good overall, but not as good as I was expecting based on the many five-star reviews. The pasta was a bit overcooked. I also had a Caesar Salad, which was fine but not great. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi with gluten-free penne, and it wasn't very good. Not much flavor and not many shrimp. Their menu is pretty much just pasta and a few sauces, so I feel like they need to really excel at sauce (since pasta is pretty straightforward). I was expecting a lot better, and left feeling that I didn't need to go back.

    Bolognese with fettuccini

The pasta here was delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauces had so much flavor. The blackened chicken was tender and juicy. The Ivan ala vodka was my favorite sauce. The bolognese was kind of tangy but still good. The service was friendly and helpful. The seating area is small. Plenty of free parking available. Would definitely come back to try some other dishes.

We ended up here by accident, but glad we did! We had planned to stop at Big Shakes, but they're temporarily closed. So we looked up what was close, and this place came up with great reviews. And they were right! We ordered cheesy bread, the Cajun pasta with grilled chicken, and the carbonara with blackened chicken. The cheesy bread was good, nothing crazy but plenty of cheese! The Cajun was spicy and creamy, and had a nice crunch of bell peppers. We'd probably get the blackened chicken for this next time, since it has similar spices. The carbonara was definitely not authentic by any means, but it was GOOD. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was thick and creamy. Service was quick and the girl working was very friendly! There's enough seating where it's not an issue if you eat inside. If you're in the area for hot chicken, try this instead -- it won't disappoint.

We went early and snagged seats at the bar to kick things off with cocktails, which turned out to be a great move. The bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye--excellent. Smooth, well-balanced. In the summer months, the outdoor seating is a great option too. Once seated at our table, we dove into appetizers. There were four of us, so sharing was the name of the game. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was a standout--warm, aromatic, and downright addictive. We also ordered the Italian Meatballs (two per order), so naturally we got two orders. Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. For my entrée, I went with the Ricotta Cavatelli. It was rich and comforting with just a subtle hint of lemon. I usually lean toward spicy dishes, so this was a departure for me, but as a crab lover, I really enjoyed it. That said, if you're looking for heat, this isn't the dish for you. We also had the Sunday Night Lasagna...on a Wednesday. Rules are meant to be broken. It was hearty, flavorful, and absolutely delivered. Dessert was a must--and North Italia did not disappoint. The Tiramisu is non-negotiable. The Salted Caramel Budino was so good. The Hazelnut Torta? Fantastic. And the Salted Caramel Gelato--just get it. Trust me. Last but definitely not least, our server Matt was amazing. Great personality, attentive without hovering, and really added to an already excellent experience. North Italia delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. A place I'd happily return to again and again.

Our server was great but the management really needs to get servers better aprons. I looked around and most servers had holes in their waist aprons and they were really dirty. Also one of the dishes was so hot, the server was covering her hand with her sleeve to place the dish on the table?! It was odd that her sleeve was inside our dish bowl - very odd. The food itself - was okay. We had the Shrimp Scampi and Beef Carpaccio which was good. Arugula and Avocado salad was nice. We had the Ricotta Cavatelli dish with shrimp and crab, it was tasty. Drink wise, had the Neapolitan. Love dirty martinis and thought it would be similar - nope, it was okay. All in all, it was a decent meal but for the price it was just okay. Also be prepared that flies love to come in when they open up the large door for the patio.

Wife says the lavender lemon drop was a hard pass, but ordering instead a standard lemon drop, she loved it. It was especially nice that it came with a sidecar on ice to refill her glass with cold lemony goodness. Wife also didn't particularly care for the chicken marsala, commenting that the sauce was thin and lacking flavor. It is worth noting though that if you want the marsala and are ordering before 6pm, the happy hour priced version is one breast instead of two, and still a generous dinner sized portion. I was excited to try the new hot chicken pizza, and was disappointed. The heat level was good, not knock your socks off hot, but a decent bit of heat. Unfortunately the chicken was dry; the chunks of breast meat overcook on the pizza, it would be much better if they'd use thighs or even chop up one of the fried tenders they put on the hot alfredo. The crust, very thin, was crunchy on the outside, but raw underneath. Despite these disappointments, Amerigo remains on our after work short list, it's a warm, friendly and pleasant space, though we're much more likely to stick with the bolognese and spaghetti on our next visit.

Noodles and Company is a quick serve spot that serves purpose when the regular rotation of week night dinners runs a bit stale. The location itself needs some TLC as it is worn from ripped and torn seating, cabinet doors falling off of the drink station, stained ceiling tiles and dirty floors. The place needs some conditional love. Cleanliness was decent throughout with the exception of filthy entry windows and doors. Food wise I went with the Pesto Cavatappi and a side of garlic bread to go. Portions could be a bit larger, but that is why I added the garlic cheese bread. Pasta's are priced as is then there is an additional charge for protein. Your average pasta with protein will run you around $12. I enjoyed the pesto pasta and the chicken was lightly breaded and portioned well for the pasta. The garlic bread was a bit soggy and the cheese came off with one bite, and not in the cool "cheese pull" kind of way. Service was "meh". They were on their phones watching videos loudly while customers waited to be noticed at the counter. Overall, Noodles and Company is just okay. Definitely has potential to be added to a quick and easy weeknight dinner rotation, but they need to make a few adjustments.
