When you enter, it just looks like an ordinary gift shop, then as you climb the stairs, rooms start to appear before as if they are developing right before your eyes. There are several nooks and cranies which you know I enjoy exploring. It is a combination of several business all under one roof or rather in one building as there are one or two floors. Meeting the Managers was a further delight and I realsied where all the display and organisaitonal skills originated. It is a wonderful collection of crafts and antiques that just seem to blend into one another in a very coordinated yet natural way. Then of course there is the coffee shop another pleasant experience. Having enjoyed a delicious hot applecake and icecream I then returned the next day with a friend for coffee and tea. Am already telling other folk about this discovery and am surprised how several folk so far were not aware of this special store. Recently, the Emporium has expanded. The shop next door has been skillfully integrated with the existing property and truly enhance the whole atmopshere of discovery and surprise. A really must visit kind of place. I like this branch of Debenhams, particularly the basement fashion floor…read more I usually shop here after Christmas when I have vouchers to spend and enjoy shopping for clothes and looking around the branches of Oasis, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Jane Norman and Red Herring in this store. There are usually bargains to be found. It has a reasonable restaurant on the top floor which does cheap meals and has a view over the park behing the store.

This is a great department store and has everything you need such as clothes, perfume, cosmetics,…read moreunderwear and household goods. My favourite section is on the lower ground floor and it is where they have the younger style female clothes with shops like Oasis, Dorothy Perkins and Warehouse, they have great sales on in here and it is well worth coming in for a rummage. This is also where I had my wedding list when I got married. They provide a great wedding list service where they send you off around the shop and you can scan everything you want for wedding presents then people register on-line for gifts and Debenhams send it all to you at the end, it couldn't be easier and was great fun!

After 7 days, my order hadn't arrived, so I contacted Bed Linen Direct. They replied, "Thank you for your email. The items you chose are Made To Order and therefore take a little longer. Normally, around 7 to 10 days. Have a great day" Why state that it takes 3 working days?. Bed Linen Direct are deliberately misleading customers, customers who have trusted Bed Linen Direct with their custom. Having also ordered Coolmax products before, I have never had to wait for them "to be made to order"; it's more likely that Bed Linen Direct did not have the advertised "in stock" items in stock, which again is deliberately misleading. The ordered items were for a caravan holiday in Spain, as we are travelling tomorrow, I have had to go out shopping to buy more Coolmax bedding, as I can't risk the ordered items not arriving in time. I can assure Bed Linen Direct that in future I will be taking my custom elsewhere. Dreadful service.

I spent £100 on a mattress cover from this company. I washed it before I put on the bed, following…read morethe washing instruction on the label. I washed at 30 degrees on a 38 minute cycle and dried on a 'store dry' cycle in a 10kg capacity condensing tumble drier which has a moisture sensor so things do not get too hot or over-dried. However, the cover shrank and went a bit lumpy. I sent it back, but the company refused to refund my money and blamed me for washing it incorrectly (which is definitely not the case). I do not think the item was fit for purpose or washable as labelled. I would advice everyone not to buy anything from this company!
