My favorite flavors are guava and passion fruit. Guess what?! PQ has a signature flavor with guava and passion fruit!!! And it tastes AMAZING! I loved the way the cake was packaged in a huge box and I loved the cake topper she used that said "girl or boy?" in pink and blue. The outside had a light pink and blue ombre effect. The cream was nice and wasn't too sweet. The cake itself was more of a traditional cake rather than a fluffy/smooth chiffon-type cake. The texture was more crumbly. An 8 inch cake was $90 and a 10 inch was $120. I was charged a $10 rush fee which I thought was fair because I sent a request about a week or less in advance. I love how artistic and beautiful her cakes are and how interesting the flavors on her menu options are. We had a custom wedding cake for our July 2023 wedding, and I have to say this has been the best wedding cake I have ever eaten!! I love the Asian inspired flavors, I had a hard time narrowing down the choices. We chose the coco mango and kinako strawberry flavors, and omg.... SO good! The cake itself was moist and light, unlike most dense wedding cakes I've had at other weddings. The frosting also wasn't overly sweet either. My husband and I live in Philadelphia so we didn't get to do a cake tasting ahead of time, but it turned out better than we expected. I was so delighted when I first tasted the cake that I didn't want to take a second round of cake cutting photos so I could just focus on enjoying the cake! I think our guests loved it so much that some got seconds and we ended up running out. The design was beautiful and turned out better than I had imagined. I love that PQ asked for design inspiration but put her own spin on it. My jaw dropped when I saw the cake for the first time, she truly is an artist. PQ was also really easy to communicate with, and I appreciate that she provided a lot of information up front so I knew exactly what to expect.
