They also tend to show very good short film programs and have a nice space for fancy but packed cocktail parties. The last film by Raoul Ruiz, 'Mysteres de Lisbonne' was playing there recently, if it still is you should hurry up and watch it!

I was lucky enough to see von Trier's Melancholia here on a hot sunny afternoon of 2011. Stumbling out, stunned and dazed from witnessing the end of the world on the Max Linder's astonishing screen, I found myself in a Paris with the black skies of an orage d'été and was not completely sure where the film ended and reality began.

It even does previews of international blockbusters. AND you have an old-fashioned popcorn machine and sweets at the entrance. AND the seats are super comfy. AND since you're not in a (real) city, you can park easily for free. I think I'll stop there because you've stopped reading already, but: GO THERE.
