A couple of years ago I gave up on tiramisu, because I never liked the taste. It's just not my thing. Until my uncle bought some tiramisu from this place. I still wanted to taste a bite, but I had very low expectations. I totally loved it! From that day on I tried looking for a tiramisu that pleases me as much as this one, but I never found a good tiramisu. Today I went to visit my family in Grenoble and did a big detour on my way back to Lyon, just to buy a box of tiramisu. I shared it with my friends and we all agreed: it tastes like heaven!

The property owner recommended four places in a little welcome book and this was one of them. No problem getting a 7 pm booking at 6; didn't fill up until around 8. Ordered a three course meal with four starter and main options. Went with the salmon starter with the salmon two ways and some delicious purées. The poulpe main was so good! I've never had octopus paired with pesto and it was served over cereal risotto and black garlic cream; sooo good! Dessert was a delicious little chocolate mousse with vanilla cream and tart citrus gel. Great service from the sweet waitress to the owner (I believe).

The place can get very busy as, although its just down the road road from the main square, is much loved by the locals. I always have the set meal which is not massproduced rather really good French cooking and the the owner comes round with some unknown shots of alcohol which tastes starnge but makes her happy!
