Patricia has taken our maternity photos, newborn photos and we still have some milestone sessions left! Patricia is a joy to work with. Her work is of course beautiful, but she genuinely cares to get the shots you want. She is prompt on responding to questions and delivers galleries on time or early! Established in 2010.

Art. It's simply all about art. I love painting, music, and any way that I can create beauty. Through photography, I am able to capture portraits to create personalized art for every family. This is what drove me to learn photography over 20 years ago, with a film SLR, photographing my own family. And this is what has driven me in my photography business for the past 6 years. It's my most heartfelt goal for myself and my clients whenever I pick up the camera. I create timeless portraits to be treasured for generations. Specializing in Maternity and Newborns, my Modern Newborn Art brand is sought by clients from all over Texas and beyond.

Meet the Business Owner: Patricia W.

Family is beautiful. I feel that pregnancy, childbirth and the newborn period also have their own unique beauty, which is why I am so in love with photographing them. I love the idea of capturing the joy, the introspection, the serenity and the emotions that surround them. I enjoy all types of photography, but creating newborn and maternity images is without a doubt what I was born to do. And I feel so honored to participate in capturing those precious and fleeting newborn moments for my clients. Because I know your family is everything to you, too. Always a student of photography, I work to master techniques that I have learned, and continually strive to learn more. I'm self-taught, which means that I didn't go to school for photography. I started (mumble mumble) years ago, old school, with film and a Pentax SLR. And I continue to work, learn, and practice. I also attend workshops to challenge myself; to improve and stay cutting edge. I rejoice in this journey.

This place is the worst. We paid their 'sitting fee' over the phone, received no receipt, they…read morecancelled on us the day of 'sitting'(photo shoot) after my husband took the day of work and lost a whole day's pay. We decided they were not the right photography studio for us. I kindly asked for our our sitting fee to be refunded, was given the run around, the receptionist said they would call me back, never did. Finally I asked my husband to call and try and get a refund for the service we paid for but did not receive and the receptionist said she tried to call me and she emailed me, I assure you they did not try and call me back to fix their wrong, And I never submitted an email address to them so in addition to getting our wedding photo shoot canceled the day of the shoot... after my husband took the day off of work, because they could not do a wedding photo shoot on a Saturday!?!? They lied and said they reached out to me and emailed me. I never provided them with my email address. They never provided me with a cancellation policy/when they cancelled on us. This is the most unprofessional photographer I have ever had to deal with and as a stylist I can tell you I deal with many shady photographers, and I also am a service provider that also provides personal services. I would never treat people like this b/c reputation means so much. This place is the most expensive studio in town and the most Shady! Shame! Shame!

I unfortunately didn't have the chance to check out the speakeasy portion of the bar but maybe next time. There are plenty of games like jenga, cornhole, basketball, skee ball, the game where you throw a ball to hit the clowns down, a huge slide (see pictures), and more. They also had a DJ playing music while I was there and it looked like they do live music there too based off the stage. You can spend a lot of time here. The drinks were pretty good. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but not too bad. They have quite a few beers on tap if beer is your thing. The service was a lot quicker than I thought it would be considering how busy it was. The three bartenders working at the time were quick and friendly. The bar is also smoke friendly if that's is something that matters to you. They have a very large parking lot. Even though the bar was busy when I visited, there were plenty of parking spots.
