Dr. Anglis office manager informed me I was no longer a patient and to call several oral surgeons in the area. When I tried to explain what the other two dentists said, she rudely repeated the oral surgeons names and said I was no longer a patient. It was difficult to find an oral surgeon to remove the implant but I finally found one. This is terrible to treat a patient who needs help and I was a good patient for several years. I suffered emotional distress and depression from this horrible experience.

I do not have any money to pay out of pocket and it would need to wait until January 1st when my insurance benefits went back to $2700 a year. I get a EOB (Explanation of Benefits) in mail today. Southshore Family Dentistry BILLED MY UNITED HEALTHCARE MEDICARE AARP PLAN $2915 FOR A CROWN AND FILLING AND PULP CAP THAT I NEVER RECEIVED!!!!! Allowed amount was $1894. Amount paid was $1062!!!!! PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY IS $832 FOR SOMETHING I NEVER HAD DONE!!!!!!!!! This is a LOW and NASTY thing to do to anyone and especially someone on social security disability income ONLY!!!! I told these people NO and they tried everything to get me to go into debt to get a crown that I don't even think I need done. I will be reporting them to medicare for FRAUD and if you don't want work done on your teeth that you dont need then STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHSHORE FAMILY DENTISTRY!!!!!
