I can't begin to RAVE enough about Patriot Movng and the wonderful service from Maciej. Patriot Moving exceeded my expectations and because of this, my bar is now set high! I reached out to several other companies back in February when I purchased a very heavy, vintage stove that needed to be picked up and delivered. I received a wide range of quotes, Maciej fell in the middle of the range. What won me over and has given a customer forever was his empathy and respect. I got sick immediately after getting the quotes. After 4 days of being in a delirious Covid brain fog, I sent emails to every company letting them know I wouldn't be able to get back to them immediately and the move wouldn't happen until around the end of March. The other companies sent me back messages like "Book with me!" "Are you ready?" "Did you see my quote?" One called me every day, sometimes twice a day. I had a 103 fever, I didn't even know the day of the week. Maciej immediately replied with wishes to get better soon and that whenever I was feeling better, he would be available to help. He followed up after a week with just a simple message, "I hope you are feeling better." His compassion, his patience, and his kindness told me all I needed to know about how he would treat my belongings. I finally had a pick up date, quickly communicated with Patriot Moving and set up the pick up time. It was all so easily done by email and text. They moved a vintage 1951 Chambers Model C stove for me. The stove is solid, as in over 450lbs solid! It is made of cast iron, enamel, and insulation all tightly packed within a 38" wide stove. It's a big, heavy beast which needed to be moved from an old 1880's apartment high-rise in the city. This meant narrow doorways and narrow spaces, smaller elevators, and lots of lifting. Patriot Moving showed up a little early and prepared for the move! We communicated mostly by email and text, never having a chance to speak by phone. He provided a COI right away as requested for by the owner. The team showed up prepared with everything for the move including tools to remove a door. They treated my stove and the residence with white glove service care. My stove was carefully wrapped tightly with stretch film to present anything from falling out or shifting. I removed most parts, but there were some that couldn't be removed. The moving team asked for permission when they needed to remove something, completely explaining their process and what to anticipate. They used plenty of moving blankets and covers to keep the home protected as well as the stove. They delivered right away and moved it in carefully, positioning it exactly where we needed it. Ensured that everything was just right, made sure we had all the parts removed and was ready to put everything back on for us. From the moment I reached out for a quote to the minute they finished the move and left, I received nothing short of excellent service! The stellar response and care for my stove was incredible! Amazing service providers. The three men that showed up with a full size truck went above and beyond to pack the truck as carefully and also as fully as possible. I even gave an inadequate amount of the quantity of items that needed to be moved. So although we had to rent another truck ourselves, the three men still packed that entire truck. I was quoted an amount of about $1500 for a move that was an hour away and from a third floor condo with no elevator to a home. I contacted the owner of the business to see what the additional charge would be as the three men did basically twice the work in my mind and there was only a $300 increase in the price! Absolutely amazing company to work with, and everyone that we worked with gave their all to make it the most convenient and efficient move for us! Patriot Moving Co was a lifesaver. I found out I was moving with only a few days notice (long story!) and needed a service to not only move me but pack me as well. Because what maximalist would be able to pack up their whole apartment in 2 days? Not this one, that's for sure. Their estimate was less than the actual cost ended up being, but they were a nice team overall and I could tell how hard they worked, so I didn't mind. I appreciated how responsive the owner was and how nice all of the people helping during my packing and my move were. I will admit, as someone who has moved too many times, I will admit I have seen movers who may be a bit quicker, but I also know my move wasn't easy. Overall they were available on short notice, had a wonderful team of hardworking people, and were transparent with their pricing at the end of the day. Piano move was flawless! The piano itself was well protected and wrapped professionally. Calling specialized piano movers is a costly for the most part ($500-$800; depending on distance). However, Patriot Movers were able to surpass all my budget needs and was extra responsive when following up, confirming the logistics, providing real-time updates and was easy to work with. We moved from Chicago to Austin, and we hired Patriot movers. They came in at a great price, the communication before they arrived to pack us was perfect, and seven guys showed up and knocked out our very large house in about 6 hours. All were very friendly and tolerated our dogs following them around. Two days later, they arrived with all of our stuff and were able to unload the trucks faster than when they loaded them! I used patriot moving in 2022 to move my apartment. Their price was very competitive, they were early, and they were fast and professional. In fact, I was so spoiled by this move with them that I've moved 3 more times since (unfortunately out of state so I could not hire them again) and all other moving services have fallen extremely short in comparison. Patriot moving spoiled me. I'm extremely resentful and borderline angry that I've not been able to use them again. Don't even think for two more seconds. I've had movers before, so I know how long it should take to move my pre-boxed up and ready to go 2br apartment. Since it's a local move, it was priced as hourly. My previous move from NY to Chicago was a set price and took about 1 1/2 hours tops to move the stuff out. Patriot Movers took ~3hrs to move my stuff out and loaded onto the truck. I can tell by the way they loaded the truck, it wasn't efficient at all. They would move a small amount of pieces down the elevator to the truck out back and come back 20 min later and repeat. NY movers would load the entire elevator and stack everything next to it so they could quickly load/unload. Also, Patriot wrapped furniture with saran Wrap and not moving blankets and tape which adds precious time. It also doesn't protect the furniture in transit. My entertainment cabinet arrived dinged up with the left side broken on top and bottom of the wood. A moving blanket may have prevented this. The entire move took 6 hours which is incredibly long considering they only had to disassemble a bed along with its headboard with a 45 min travel time to destination. The rest was moving boxes and an other items that didn't require disassembling. I didn't even have a couch! I will give them that it was very hot outside. The movers were all very nice and respectful. They even had a third guy along with them even tho I paid for 2 since the move after needed 3 movers. I can't imagine how long it'd have taken them if it were 2. Can't necessarily recommend these guys and I hate to leave a mediocre review but it's honest and I hope Patriot Movers can do better for the next customers. read more

Absolute worse! I booked them for packing and moving. They are thieves that will give you one quote (even visit your place before to get a proper quote) and charge you almost double the day of moving! Was quoted 650 for the move and then was charged over 1,000 the day of! They break your things and when you email them to let them know they come up with a million excuses! Any review that is below 5 stars deserves extra scrutiny because I have used Maciej and his Patriot Movers not once but twice and each and every time, they have demonstrated professionalism and extremely quick out of box thinking. Perfect example: I purchased a tv moving box from home depot, but when moving the tv, one of the screws was stripped and we couldn't remove the base mount. Within minutes, they had reconfigured the box to accommodate the base and wrapped it and continued, business as usual. Didn't even faze them. When I was moving cross state and loading into a uPack, they were able to squeeze all of our stuff into a single cube despite us preparing to reserve two because of the sheer volume of our goods. Just seeing them play tetris with our furniture and utilizing every square inch of our upack gave us the utmost confidence in them and their moving abilities. They were gentle with all of our things, timely, and went above and beyond to make my moving experience as easy as possible, not once, but twice.
