We had to fire him and, even though we received no results at all on the work he contracted to do, he refused to return our deposit. We'll be seeing him in small claims court and have learned another client of his is doing the same thing for similar reasons. Look further for someone who knows what they are doing. We did and now have a lovely porch to enjoy that was done right.

He dropped and did not put back insulation from a closet ceiling attic. He left open a fire place screen, changed a furnace filter that was his to replace while leaving the old filter and plastic wrappers on the floor, and left a faucet dripping in a bathroom. Not very tidy or respectful of his privilege to do work in a home. He also refused to supply a copy of his report to the owners of the home. If his inspection was as detailed as his clean up, be forewarned.
