I'm retired military and thier donuts used to be so good when I came home I always bought two dozen to take back to my base to share with my Airmen. Over the last 6 yrs since I retired home, their quality has noticeably gone downhill. Now they are just "ok." I wouldn't mind the cost if they were still that good, but now they aren't worth it. I grew up in this town and prior to now I had no reason to try the other competitor downtown... think next week I will. I called and placed an order for just once pizza they said it would be ready in about 30-40 minutes, I went there and my whole pizza was burned they forgot it in the oven. They then told me come back in 15 minutes. I went back 20-25 minutes later and still had to wait. They also never answer their phone unless you call about 4 times. This was our first visit to Pats and thus local donut shop is known pretty well by locals. It's a simple shop and the staff is very nice. Came for donuts and grabbed a mix of a dozen. We definitely enjoyed this box a joy and the word in town lived up to what they are known for zz great donuts. Came here a while back while on a shopping trip in Lima. I always take a box of donuts with me to take back home whenever i go into Lima. I've had Donuts from Pat's Donuts at their Delphos location and thought it would be the same. I was wrong. The donuts from their Delphos location ate amazing, the ones from this location were mostly inedible. Only thing i can say about it, is they are quick to fulfill your order so there is no wait. The saying freshman 15 is real guys. I went here, every. Single. Day. For two weeks. Yeah, that wasn't smart. But did it taste good? Heck yeah it did. I had a couple Cream Filled Long Johns - bar donuts, finger donuts, (in my case a cream stick, the only REAL way to say them) mostly maple and chocolate. Just a warning though, if you get the peanut butter ones, they use homemade peanut butter not JIF so yeah.. the people are nice, I wanted to get a on there but I realized I'd eat more than my weight so did take it. What's not to love about a donut shop that makes a pretty good pizza??? Well gang I found it located in the mean streets of Lima Ohio. In these parts they hide all the toppings under the the cheese. Ok I get it.....the toppings wont fall off. Well where I'm from and the pizza joints I go to the toppings are showcased on top. I like it that way and it seem that I can taste them better. Anyway Pats made a good pizza tonight. Sauce had good flavor and the crust was better than ok. I have to get back to the veggies and meat that's under the cheese. The woman who was working was really awesome. I changed my order a bunch because sometimes I can't make up my mind. She never got annoyed and was just a very sweet person. The donut I got was tasty. I also got chicken salad but it was just ok. I've started making my own at home so it's hard to enjoy it when I know it's coming from a container and it's not fresh. That's really my only complaint. I know this place is a Lima staple and next time I'll have to try ice cream and pizza. read more

Pat's is an awesome little doughnut shop and much more! Besides doughnuts, they also serve pizza, sandwiches, and ice cream. My husband and I each got a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with chips, a strawberry kettle tart (these are a- MAZING! Shown in pics.), and a waffle cone. Our total was just over $16 and we were able to sit and enjoy our little meal inside. They do have a drive thru as well. You're able to call orders ahead too. Great food, great prices, and friendly service (I ask A LOT of questions.)! read more

The breakfast pizza is incredibly good!! Can't find anything like it in Lima!! The only thing that stinks is, your office can't just decide they want to order a breakfast pizza and get it delivered. They do not deliver so you have to plan it and pick it up before hand. Not so terrible however, they have often missed out on our order simply because once you're at work, like many other offices, you cannot leave. That's the only thing I would change.
