I Initially came across Monique's business card in the summer of 2020, I immediately started to…read morefollow her on both IG and Facebook and seen all of the great work she and her office were accomplishing. After months of following her work, the following summer my wife and I decided to contact Monique and start the process of our immigration case. We started with a 30 minute consultation call where she got to know us and we got to know her. Also on this call she laid out a timeline of events and was very upfront about everything we would encounter during this journey. Monique said "you have to be patient and positive", no true words were ever spoken. Monique provided 3 different affordable payment options and allowed us to pick the one that best suited our needs. Then, Monique and her staff started to collect our documents and submit all necessary paperwork. At no point during this process did we have a hiccup, she kept her word in regards to response time, anytime we had questions she or Yessica would immediately respond to us, they also sent us a monthly update letter to continuously let us know where we were in this process. Once we got to the point where all documents were approved and we were preparing for our interview at the US Embassy in Malawi, Monique provided us in detail a study guide to prepare us for the interview which included text and videos. I would recommend the Law offices of Monique C Reynolds, LLC to anyone who is need of a GREAT Immigration Lawyer. We are pleased to have had her and her staff assist us with our case and get us that Permanent Residence Visa. Thank You Monique, we appreciate all that you have done. Thank You, 5 stars is not enough to describe your service.

Our family hired Mr. Lawson to represent our son in a divorce/child custody case. No one can…read moredetermine the outcome of these cases, but Mr. Lawson did a very poor job of representing our son. He never met with him after their initial meeting to prepare him for his case. He was always late getting to court. He did not prepare my son for his testimony and he did a terrible job on the stand. He did not call any witnesses other than family members and we had given him the name of someone that had information that may have helped the case. He never called the person. He also acted shocked about things that were said in court and said my son never told him, not acknowledging that he never met with him or spoke with him on the phone about the case. He never explained to him what to expect at any step. He also postponed the negotiations phase of the case twice and didn't have the arbitration until the morning of the trial. By then, my daughter in law had made plans to move out of state. Mr. Lawson also, after the judgment went against my son, went into negotiations with my daughter in law and her attorney without my son. He agreed to an awful visitation plan which my son did not know about until he received the divorce decree. In hind sight he should have been fired early on in the case but we kept thinking that he knew what he was doing. Well.... we found out either he didn't know what he was doing or he just didn't care. I think the later is closer to the truth.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could: This firm traumatized me more than my assaulter. For almost two…read moreyears, they pretended to represent me in a sexual assault case, but ignored emails for months, missed critical deadlines, and abandoned me two weeks before trial--after I dared to ask for a continuance to get the fair trial I was never being prepared for. I was left in the dark the entire time--begging for updates. I had to send multiple emails just to get a response. They ignored me for months at a time. When I finally got a rare update, my attorney casually told me he had spoken to my abuser and said, "He seems like a nice guy, very concerned." That's what he said about the man who sexually assaulted me. I couldn't believe it. But this attorney--who was supposed to be advocating for me--made excuses for my abuser and then told me to "be the bigger person." These are triggering, cruel phrases to say to a victim of sexual violence. For nearly two years, there was no real prep for trial. No witness statements, no mental health records submitted, no damages defined. Then--one week before trial-- I sent several emails asking for the court date and time (which he scheduled for in person when I've told him repeatedly that I don't live in Georgia) he suddenly tried to cover himself by offering to rehearse one week before trial... and suggested we do it in person, completely forgetting I live out of state. I requested a continuance to do this right--to get the justice I deserved. That's when Chris Stokes brought in Mike Rafi, and they retaliated. The refused to request for a continuance knowing I have a very important work week next week and I don't have the mental bandwidth to rush this trial and perform at work. They ignored me for 2 years and tried to force me to settle with my abuser who finally contacted them when he found out the trial date. I said I don't want to take the coins my abuser is tossing my way to shut me up. I'd like to press for time since they never worked with me on my trial in two years. They said "No". I emailed the Judge's secretary myself asking for a coninuance and CC'd them out of respect. Instead of helping me, they punished me for speaking up: Mike Rafi REPLIE-ALL to the court and simply stated that they no longer represent me--abandoning a sexual assault victim two weeks before trial. Didn't even address me! Just told the judge's assistant! Then they turned hostile, threatening me with court costs and legal fees--after they failed to represent me. They wanted me to settle for just $25,000--because they "wanted the check to clear by Monday." They referenced my abuser's marital and financial status as if that justified giving up. This was never about justice for them. It was about closing a file and getting paid--at my expense. I am not the first client this happened to. Look at the other reviews--people dropped when they ask questions, then bullied by Mike Rafi when they refuse to stay silent. This law firm revictimized me, traumatized me, and left me to fend for myself right before trial. They are dangerous, careless, and in my opinion, unethical. Survivors: do not trust them with your trauma. You deserve better than this.
