So, I did. And, I'm so glad I did. Benny called me about 2 days later to follow up from my text. He very patiently answered my millions of questions with my "enough to be dangerous" real estate knowledge. Suddenly, he started speaking my language. We talked about marketing strategies and how to proactively engage buyers...and, we arranged a meeting. We met before Christmas, but we had no intention of listing before May. We didn't HAVE to move. We wanted to move. We weren't motivated. Benny met with us, we made a plan. He was confident that he'd would not only make us money on the sale of our home, but he'd bring multiple offers and drive our sale. I had talked with another realtor who blatantly told me we would NEVER get what I thought we'd get for our home. Wrong. Benny goes against typical realtor jargon and challenges the system. He's innovative in his approach. We got excited once we found our dream home in the state we were moving. We moved up our listing date, and Benny was ready. Straight out of the gate, before our listing was live, we had 2 showings. Then, the day after we went live, we had 4 back to back showings, and 18 families visited on our open house our opening weekend. By 7 days, we had 2 offers (sadly, they weren't the right offers). By day 14, we had showings on our house daily and 3 open houses. By day 20, we had 2 more competing offers. This time, on day 21, we have our house in escrow, with a profit of more than he promised. He made it happen, and we are so grateful. Though we aren't at the closing table yet, I feel confident it's going to close without a hitch. Selling a house isn't easy. But, Benny is always positive. He is attentive, kind, and "he will sell your house today!" (Inside joke). I'm forever thankful I listened to him. He's the real deal. Best realtor I've ever worked with...ever.
