Stopped here on my way to photograph some aircraft displayed near Edwards Air Force Base. This small unassuming restaurant was open by 6:30am and served me a great omelet with juice and coffee. It was exactly what I needed and the service was quick, attentive, and kind. That breakfast held me for a good 8 hours before I was hungry again. We had breakfast there the other morning and as it was our first time, we were very pleasantly surprised! Our traditional breakfasts were tasty and served on very chic square plates. The color scheme and decor were warm and inviting, and being seniors we enjoyed the oldies music playing as we ate. The service was perfect, and the restroom was very clean. Auiight everyone i came to Pattys on a whim crusing through Rosamond...CA....I will say this it a very local establishment but had good energy...so as a traveler you need that when being on the road for awhile...the staff had a smile upon entry so that was a great touch....I tried the Hobo Scramble it was awesome and very good portion as well....definitely recommend this location if you are in the area..... read more

Bottom Line: It's local spot that you're looking for I was doing a track day at Willow, just down the street and needed some super early breakfast. A lot of the places that are open this early are corporate type spots and I much prefer to support a local spot plus the food is always better. Luckily for me, this place is open super early. I ordered a breakfast combo and a burrito for the road and tucked in. The people working there were very friendly (despite the hour!!) and professional. The breakfast was delicious, I have to say. This place is exactly what I was hoping to find! The burrito was good too! By the time I got to it, it was cold but it was large enough that I didn't even get to finish it. This place never stops being consistent. Not that I try to be the guy walking in 5 minutes before closing, but other cafes have turned me away 30 minutes before closing around here. Quality, not there, the breakfast and dinner meals are bland and the salsa is very canned-like and runny with little taste and all spice. Been there several times at a couple months apart trying to give the local place a fighting chance. I'm unable to get decent service/my order after ordering 30 minutes after ordering when we would be in a party of 6-9 people x2. The portions and orders were always nothing to compare to other local mom & pop business's. Example: The quesadilla that I ordered there with chicken was not cut and it barely could stay together because it was not cooked properly. Breakfast: ordered their steak and eggs medium rare and my steak came back well done. And that was after waiting 30 minutes to place my order and then another 30 minutes to get my order. My husband and I enjoyed a homemade tasting breakfast here this morning. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed a vege omelette with tons of sautéed veges topped with cheddar cheese and a side of sliced tomatoes (that actually had taste to them). The sour dough toast was thick and tasted freshly baked. My hubby raved about the biscuits and gravy and enjoyed his scrambled eggs with sausage patty. Patty's Cafe is my go to for weekend breakfast. My wife and I have been going for the past 4 years. The atmosphere and staff are always very welcoming. Drink and food orders are knocked out within minutes of arriving. I usually have chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy but have tried numerous other menu items and have never been let down. They also serve delicious Mexican coffee that has Kahlua and tequila in it. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a great pace to have breakfast! read more

i've eaten there before the food has been decent went back on Saturday. I bought too many of those of a beef burrito with rice and beans and a breakfast burrito. The Manoe, though was the worst over cooked meat was slimy didn't have very much hominy in it it was all juice my son was very disappointed because he loves menu though he had a couple I looked at mine and mine was the same. I tried to just eat the other pieces of meat because it was two different types of meat in it, but even the flavor was not seasons properly wasn't authentic and why would you serve and sell Manoe though that's over cooked the meat is not supposed to be slimy and falling apart. I was going to call and complain, but I didn't want to get another one because it was over cooked or I didn't want them to tamper with my food will not be going there any longer with me and my family read more

First of all we had to get our own menu and seat ourselves then we still wait to get asked if we are ready to order. We ordered some tamale with beans and the tamale taste like if it was from Costco and second of all the cheese was not even melted and the hash browns where cold. Second I ordered a chilaquiles in green sauce and it look like they just threw the sauce on top of the tortillas and it was nasty. I asked for over easy eggs and I got them cooked I told the lady and she said what you want me to do. Like hello fix my plate. Them we get the biscuits and gravy and them are all hard can't even cut them to eat them. This is a bad service area and bad quality food. This place is not how it use to be yrs ago. Then they don't check up to ask for refills or nothing like that. Bad service and bad quality food. If I could give no stars I would. Don't recommend to come and eat here. read more
