My straw was being 2 people back in line and watching a large group walk up and get bumped in line ahead of those of us waiting all while one staff person worked the counter and 2 others were back behind them having a personal discussion. When asked about making those in line wait while others are helped I was told that it was ok, they were in all of the time. It's not ok, not at all and it's not just me that feels that way - my wallet agrees.

For our first round here, we were very impressed. The course was in great shape. Greens started a…read morebit slow due to dew but sped up quite a bit as the day dried the ground. The forward tees were 5000 yards which was a good distance. There was not a lot of sand or water on the course, but more than plenty trees to keep it challenging. Only a couple of blind holes. We golfed with two people that had played it before so it was helpful to get the inside scoop. They have a nice restaurant with lake views so we had lunch there. Staff was great. Great experience.

We started off with the walleye strips which were great. Much better than other ones we had at another restaurant in town. The walleye tacos were good, however too many sauces drowned the taste a bit. Instead of potato chips I opted for a cup of soup. It was Rueban brisket, never heard of such a combo so I needed to try it. Glad I did, it was delicious. Our server was great. I look forward to going back soon.

The actual owner was there and she walked me through the process-awesome lady named Sandy! SInce I was traveling, it was suggested to paint with acrylic so I could take it home with me right away. There are about 50 or more items to paint that were mostly hand molded right in the store! There were so many options for paint colors, sponges, paint brushes and tools to create my masterpiece. On the walls were a local artists paintings as well. This only enhanced the bright and colorful decor of the studio. Glazed and Amused is part of a Friday morning art crawl, which is why the local art was displayed. I love to support local businesses and artists even when traveling!

We worked with Kristi, the event coordinator, throughout the process and she was wonderful! She communicated with us throughout the whole process by email, phone, and text which was awesome as we were planning the wedding from out of state. The food was delicious and all the staff at The Sanford Center were very nice and helpful! I highly recommend renting a room at The Sanford Center for this kind of event!
