My family…read morehas been dealing with this agent who we were placed with by a Mortgage company for over a year. We were double charged and he had no interest in making it right. I am suspicious of the deals that go on between Mortgage brokers and insurance agents who collude to overcharge people in such a sneaking and underhanded manner that you don't even know that it has happened until one day you see that you are being charged by Allstate AND separately by the Mortgage company. When this came to light I called and thought that I would be treated with an apology and some sense of making it right as I had never given my Mortgage Co. permission to write a policy for me let alone take payments out and pay Allstate who have now been double paid. Instead of being treated fairly I got an attitude of "I have got better things to do". No kidding - after you overcharge me and won't refund my over charge. Unbelievable.

    Worst customer service EVER! After I cancelled my policy Daniel still charged me over $300. I…read morecalled his office MULTIPLE times, left messages with his assistant and he wouldn't call back. I called the 800 number and they said they could see my policy was cancelled and that I was still being charged but there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact my agent. I ended up sending Daniel a message telling him my next step was to file a police report, he text me back saying he had cancelled my policy and no charges were taken out and again he won't answer my calls or txts. DO NOT GET INSURANCE THROUGH HIM!!

I hate to…read moreleave poor reviews, but don't know what else to do! 8/2018, I discovered we did not have rental car coverage. 8/22/18 our State Farm (SF) Agent, Daniel Kroll, texted saying we should visit him to add coverage. Appt was 8/23/2018. We have this in writing. We met w/ Daniel & added rental car. 5/1/2022 car accident. I call Daniel who connected me to Claims who said we do NOT have rental car coverage. But we added it in 2018. I call Daniel. He assured me not to worry, it was just not showing in the system. 5/2, Daniel texts: "As far as the rental car... call Enterprise. Pay for the rental car & send me the receipt. I'll write you a reimbursement check." We have this all in writing. As shown, Daniel committed to paying for rental car where I wrecked & back home, via a reimbursement check. Our car took 2 mo. to repair. During this time, I spoke w/ Daniel several times & went into his office. Each time, we talked about how long repairs take. I expressed concern I had rented for so long. After 30 days, Enterprise (Ent) charged me, & I had to re-rent. He advised me to keep the receipts, so he could reimburse in 1 check. On 7/11, I emailed Daniel receipts totaling $1,623.06. No reply. On 7/20 I email again. Daniel responds: "I got the reimbursement check sent out. The coverage for rental car is up to $600 so that was the max I was able to refund." What? I called his office. Daniel was on vaca, so I requested he call. A week went by. My husband & I called his office, cell, & sent texts. No response. Finally got a call fr Daniel after filing a complaint with SF. He claimed he said there was a $600 cap on the rental car when we spoke right after the accident on 5/1. Untrue. How could he have told about the cap when he never added rental in 2018? He lied to cover his mistake. We call rental car agency & asked why we were never made aware of the cap. They said b/c there was no rental car coverage, there was no cap. We call SF customer service, & they said Daniel added rental car coverage AFTER 5/1/22, we did not ask him to do this as we thought it was added in 2018. I call SF 8/18 to add details to the case & found Daniel had it closed by saying he "resolved the issue." This too is a lie. We are saddened the word of Mr. Kroll was taken over ours- even though we have written proof he promised to reimburse ALL of the rental car coverage. We are good, honest people who have been w/ SF for over 20 years. We just need to be reimbursed for the rental car as promised. Happy to revise this review once we are fully reimbursed.
