I had never received a statement, call, email or text about having a bill in the first place. This company sent me a collections text at 2:36pm (36 minutes after they closed) on Friday, while in Yellowstone on vacation. I couldn't even call until Monday, leaving me to stress out over a petty amount. Even worse, they sent a collections text to my wife for $14. Something she was also not aware of. Kind of funny having two collections threats to the same address. When I went in the following Monday, the lady at the desk apologized and explained that it is a third party company that handles billing and there was nothing she could do. She said that they were purchased by a corporation out of state. She said it was the unpaid portion of some work I had done back in December. Supposedly there was a statement sent to me in March which I would have paid if I received it. The biggest problem I have is that they can send me a collection threat but never sent a message reminder to pay my bill which I would have gladly done. Instead, I was threatened and left to stew for a number of days. Needless to say I have fired this company as my dentist. Key word being "company" as they are no longer locally interested. It's just a money collector and they don't care about the patient. I will be looking for a new office and I would highly recommend steering clear of this company!! Despite Burlington Family Dentistry's BEST EFFORTS, they are a complete FAILURE!

    Dr Carroll is great . explains things in a way that can be easily understood, doesn't try to push…read morethings on you which other dentists do . she recommend exactly what I needed . the reason for the bad review is directly a result of the front desk . it's almost impossible to get a call back . no one ever picks up the phone . I had to call in multiple times to finally get through, but all in vane , was put on hold and after 5 min waiting I was hung up on . I've been a patient there since before she sold her practice and since the sale things have gone downhill. I put up with the nonsense at the front desk only because Dr Carroll is in my opinion the best dentist I've ever dealt with . I just hope the new management steps up and fixes the mess of a reception team currently working there . Dr Carroll deserves better .

The first time I was there, Dr. Carroll told me she was grumpy and stressed out. The receptionist told me she was stressed out as well. I find it unprofessional for a doctor or employee to tell a patient she is grumpy. In every appointment I felt rushed and didn't get my questions answered. I asked for a treatment plan because there are alot of problems in my mouth. Dr. Carroll didn't have time to go over what needed to be done, and said she would call me. She never did. I had 3 teeth with cavities filled. One had to be extracted soon thereafter (by a new dentist). The new dentist told me I had a big cavity in one of the teeth Dr. Carroll said she had filled. Dr. Carroll also blatantly lied about me in her chart notes, stating that I had said something I never said. The 3 times i was there were very unpleasant and I did not feel taken care of regarding my dental issues. I do not trust Dr. Carroll and do not recommend her services.
