The livery on the side of the building has a quaint 1950s feel to it, which I always find rather welcoming, for some reason. They have a decent selection of cars available, which are parked out on the street during their opening hours. Their window display also has a whiteboard showing their full stock list. Their repair and MOT centre does a brisk trade. As I have a pretty old car I have trouble with it from time-to-time and I always ask the fellas there to take a look. Most of the time they simply offer advice (such as the time my wife left the car without petrol in it.....rather embarrassing!) but on the odd occasions they have done actual work on the car they have always been reasonable in their estimates and prices. Within an hour while I was having a cuppa a video was produced going over the car and with an honest assessment that nothing was required that day. I turned down the offer of a car wash and was on my way, exactly how dealers and manufacturers should be when wanting to retain loyal customers.
