The pizza with all the meats. Husband loved it.
    Keegan P.

The good: Cheesy garlic bread and pizza loved by all. The bad: my "chicken Parmesan sandwich" the chicken inside was clearly frozen chicken tenders. Rubbery and not great. Against my advice my daughter ordered the fettuccini (she's used to Eddie's) it was so bland she didn't care to take her leftovers and neither did I. It was kind of peppery, but none of that creamy cheesy flavor, you know? Also the service was kind of nonexistent for the first 20 minutes we were there. I think they only had the bartender there and the place was pretty full. Once another waiter clocked in we were much better taken care of. It's very much a dive bar probably not the best place for a fam, but everyone was really friendly. I hear the meatball sub is good so I might get that if I go again. Stick to more basic stuff. Don't order anything fancy and it's probably fine.

I loved this place. We're finally exploring the Downtown Upland area. It's so cool and dark inside. Love the decor. Lots of t.v.s to view sports. The food was amazing. Definitely try the portabella pizza. My daughter was excited to see the gooey cheese on her pizza. We will be back to try more yummy food- if I can part from the portabella pizza. They were busy, so service was a little slow. Super friendly and kind.

The food here is always delicious! I must admit the meatball sandwich is the bomb! Our waiter Daniel was awesome! He was the only one waiting that night and he did a great job! It's a quaint lil pizza pub with a bar at the front which is nice!

Thin layer of pastrami. doesn't even cover bread. rip off for $20!
    Ivan M.

Used to love coming here but will stop now after they jip me on thin layer of pastrami that doesn't even cover over the bread. Big loafy bread but thought they'd give at least a small stack of pastrami. isn't worth $20 bucks for all bread and small amount of pastrami. I know where all hurting economically but don't make us pay so much for just bread!!

sadly this pizza was made with too much cheese that instead of enjoying it I disliked how it and a fly land on it

One of the coolest places in Historic Downtown Upland. They have subs, pizzas, salads, etc. This place has a lot of charm. I got to meet Paulie! Super nice man and we spoke for about 15 minutes. This place has been around a long time. The decor and rustic feel is really nice. I didn't have a lot of time today, was mostly passing through, but I will be coming back in a few weeks. Check it out if you are anywhere near Upland.

This pizza is so burnt it has large black spots and cut the roof of my mouth. I didn't ask for my pizza to be extra well done.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for pick up. Didn't check it because previously I ordered one from here and it was delicious. When I got home and opened the pizza it was dominantly burnt. While I do enjoy a little toasty pizza this one was not it. I brought this home for dinner and my kids immediately starting commenting on how burnt it was and refusing to eat. I called Paulies to let them know and the girl answered "I checked it myself and it looked fine." She offered to make the pizza again which is fine but I'm trying to stick to my schedule and get my kids to bed. I don't have an extra 20-30 minutes to wait for another pizza to be cooked. I made the kids give it a try and I ate myself. I cut the roof of my mouth within a few bites. If your going to order a pizza from here make sure your prepared for rude customer service and make sure to ask for your pizza not burnt.

I'm sorry to write this review because for many years we've been going. It's a Sunday early evening. It was a bit busy. One waiter. It took 20 mins for him to come and asked what we like to drink. We gave him our order. Salad & large Paulas special. 40 mins later we got our salad. I think I could see our pizza sitting in back of the oven. When it came out, omg, it wasn't hot & crust was like a store bought cracker with no crust. I told the waiter but at this time I wasn't going to wait for another pizza. Yes the pizza had ambiance of topping but no crust. The table next to us ordered pizza & it was fluffy hot pizza by seeing them serve it. I tried to reach out to the owner with no respond so here I am! Lost a customer. We only go to two places for pizza, looks like back to Warehouse pizza !! Only

When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. But the menu was slim, Kid options were grim, Just fries for our lass, what a bland! The heat made us sweat, lines out the door, Cottage Pie? "Peas maybe." We weren't sure. No peas in the end, Wife said "meh" my friend, Nachos were fine, wings we adored. Green beer was cool, but that's all the cheer, Average at best, won't return here. Three stars is the call, For the holiday thrall. Fun once, but not every year!

We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! Everyone is still talking about how great everything was, and I'm truly so grateful to Alex and the rest of the staff at Rescue Brewing for making my husband's birthday so amazing!! We appreciate you all so much, and we can't wait to come back soon!

I must say, the brewery really stands out with their bright and appealing logo out front. When we went in, the place was packed, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. To our surprise, they didn't just have a huge beer selection--they also offered a large variety of seltzers and cocktails for anyone who wasn't in the mood for beer. I decided to try the Tart of War, and my taste buds were in for a pleasant surprise. This sour beer had delicious notes of strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The brewery had a lot of TVs, which was perfect because I was able to catch the Lakers game that night. The bartenders were super friendly and worked efficiently, even with such a large crowd. The 90's alternative rock playing in the background had all of us nodding along. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. They also seem to have a happy hour on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM with food and drink specials, which is definitely worth checking out.

The blue cheese burger I wished were a bit stronger in blue cheese flavor (as a person who loves lots of blue cheese), but the burger was definitely filling for both the eyes and the tummy. The only thing I wished is that the burger didn't feel as heavy/greasy, but if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have chosen a burger. That said, the grease did feel like it took away from the flavors, making the burger tasting milder than I had wanted. That said, it was very enjoyable overall. The dog menu was surprisingly different from what I've seen. It was surprisingly healthy looking with the amount of vegetables they added to my dog's bowl including some Brussels sprouts. There was no rice at all, which was fine for me since my dog doesn't really like rice. Unfortunately, he is so picky, so he picked out the chicken from the vegetables even with me pre-mixing it, and I think the vegetables are too firm to his liking. However, I appreciate the food being healthy and the portions, even if he himself will not really eat most of it. I'm sure some other dog will do a lot better with the bowl!
