The beauticians are really and friendly and know me well from going so often. The service is great and treatments are done very well. I had my hair cut once and the stylists are not the best, but if your going for a simple trim or colour, then it should be no problem. However, they don't seem to do "fashion colour" or all those really high fashion kind of hair styles, just simple cuts, upstyles and colour. They also do Shellac nails (but not gel extensions or acrylics), manicures/ pedicures, bare minerals make up, spray tan and massages. The Dermalogica facials are only 65 euro (Most other places seem to charge 75-80) which I find is a good deal. The prices are very reasonable, lower than most salons, and the staff are very friendly.

Hair: I find the hair cutting quite good, but it really depends on the stylist. I always get a senior stylist since the junior ones here are not great. I've always been happy with my haircuts here, except they don't colour black hair like they do in Dublin salons, which is weird. They say they can't do it, but I've died my hair many colours in the Dublin salons. The beauty treatments here are great. Not too expensive, but the waxing can be a bit slow. However, they do nice facials, massages, body wraps and manicures. The inside of the salon is also really nice after the refurbished it, and I think it is the best and most popular one in Galway. PS: The salon is up a flight of stairs, no wheelchair access.

I've been to salons in Dublin and they all pale in comparison with Marie. I would normally have the Guinot facial - get double the time and half the price in comparison with Dublin beauticians. I try to go every time I visit Clare. Highly recommended.
