Fabio and his crew just made my Fiat new again after a little parking lot hit and run. They arranged for the rental to be delivered to their shop. They worked with the insurance adjuster and made my car look amazing. These guys made the whole process as painless as possible. They even detailed the whole car to make it show room ready. I don't usually leave Yelp reviews, but I had to write to tell you guys - this place is the real deal. I bumped up my rear door in my own parking lot a while back and had it fixed by some scam artist on the street. Fabio walked me through the whole process of what they would do, what the previous guy did wrong (which ultimately cost me more money) and literally fixed it as if it were new, without replacing the door mesh. I've been a customer of Paul's Auto Body for about 9 years... The first time I went to this establishment was back in 2003. I had gotten T-boned at an intersection by someone who blew a stop sign. I brought it to the Dealer's body shop (Clay Nissan in Newton, MA) where I had bought the car from the previous year thinking it would be better to have a dealer fix the car with original parts, factory training etc... what a mistake??? When I got the car back 7 weeks later the paint didnt match the rest of the car, they "Mickey moused" the door latch, because they cut the frame too short. So they added washers to make the door latches reach the door. The door wouldnt shut on the first try, so I had to slam the door to keep the door shut. I could hear a rattle while driving from the door. I brought it back to them to fix it, but the manager was being a complete jerk and made it look like I didnt know what I was talking about. I was upset and left... A few weeks later I heard about Pauls auto body from my friends and went there. Fabio took the time to look at the issue and fixed the door for me. 10 minutes later I drove out there happy. Since then I've been bringing my cars, family members' cars, and referring friends over. They all have been 100% satisified with the quality of work performed and how efficient Fabio and his dad - Vito has been in getting paperwork and body repairs done right the first time. Fabio there took care of everything from having Hertz deliver a vehicle to the shop, doing extensive review of the damage and delivering a clean and sparkling car to me in just a few days. I've been meaning to bring my car into a shop to get a noise looked at. Two weeks ago, my husband and I realized we had a two-day window where we only needed one car so it was a great opportunity to get my car fixed up. He called Paul's and made an appointment for this past Monday. Sunday night we dropped the car off and put the key in the key-dropoff with a note saying the car make/model, my husband's contact info (he was home that day so it'd be easier for them to get a hold of him), and the issue I wanted looked at. When I got out of work on Monday at 4 pm I called my husband to see if they had called him about the car and he said no. So I called up and said I wanted to check on my car and the guy that answered (a mechanic) asked what car and then put me on hold for two minutes. Then a different guy got on the phone (the fast-talking Italian guy that covers the front, heretofore referring to as "This Fuggin Guy") and said that the car was up on the lift right now and they haven't pinpointed the issue yet but they're close. He said they were being very thorough because he didn't want to just start changing out parts for no reason. That sounded reasonable but I needed the car back for Wednesday so now with one day down I wanted to make sure I'd get it back by then. He said yes, definitely, he can assure me of that, and they'd have an update for me midmorning on Tuesday. I got off the phone and thought about it and realized it was sketchy that: 1) I was on hold for two minutes when just called to get an update and 2) This Fuggin Guy could say for sure that they'd locate the issue by midmorning the next day when it took them all today and they couldn't figure it out. Normal garages can pinpoint the issue within a few hours, after all. SO I got suspicious and drove past the garage on my way home and GUESS WHAT? My car was still sitting in the exact spot we parked it on the street the night before, same wheel tilting and everything. I drove home SO PISSED, got my husband, and drove back to the garage and told them I'd be taking my car since they clearly lied about looking it over, and it was clear they forgot about it until I called to check on it. (Note: remember that I MADE AN APPOINTMENT annnnd we even left a note with the key the night before so even if they forgot about the appointment, they'd have that reminder Monday morning.) This Fuggin Guy now changes his story to say it WAS up on the lift but they just took it for a test drive and parked it on the street. I was like "I drove by on my way home less than five minutes after you said it was up on the lift 'right now' and saw it on the street" and he tries saying something about how the mechanics can't take the cars out themselves, he has to do it (which... what? What kind of garage has mechanics who can't do test drives? That's kind of an important aspect of the job) and he was out doing that blah blah blah. I was like "Honestly, if you had admitted you forgot about my car I would have been a little annoyed but I would have left it here to get fixed but since you straight up lied about it I just can't leave it here." And all he could do was keep stammering about how the really spent all day looking for the issue and he was telling the truth. (By the way, the issue was just bad bearings. One of the easiest things to diagnose on a car.) This Fuggin Guy thought it was less embarrassing to say it takes them 1.25 days to spot bad wheel bearings than it was to admit they forgot about my car. I was ASTOUNDED at the stupidity and gall. The biggest issue that has plagued the car repair industry is lack of trust and here This Fuggin Guy is, right out of the gate before they even TOUCHED my car, lying worse than a four-year-old and expecting me to give them business. So in conclusion, while sometimes you're not sure if you can trust a mechanic shop, I can tell you with 100% certainty you cannot trust this place and urge you to pass it by. read more

As a woman there is no one I would trust more than Fabio. He was very clear as to what my car needed and the cost. I don't write a lot of reviews as you can tell but this inspired me. Had to get my Audi fixed due to an accident. I had a great experience with Fabio and the crew at Paul's Auto Body. He had a rental car waiting for me when I arrived, took care of working with my insurance company, and kept me posted on any unforeseen issues. There were also issues with my insurance company later on, which I won't get into here, that Fabio went above and beyond with. At the end of the day, my car looks great again and I will be a repeat customer. I have been to Paul's a couple times now. I've had check out a mysterious check-engine light, replace a side mirror, and repair my Jeep after a collision with a deer. Each time I've been there I've had a great experience. Here's why: They don't fleece you with hidden charges or convince you to do it the expensive way. Example: I went to Monro to have them check out my vehicle, which was running a little sluggish all of a sudden. They did the check and gave me an estimate for a billion different repairs that I didn't understand, with an estimate up to 4 digits. I took it to Paul's afterward to have them look at the estimate, and they ensured me that there was no problem with the vehicle, and all the "repairs" Monro suggested were unnecessary. Turns out, I hadn't driven my Jeep in the summer yet, and it was driving sluggish simply because I had my a/c on. Sure enough, I tested the theory by driving without the a/c, then turning it on, and lo and behold, the engine all of a sudden sounded like it was trying harder again. All this time I thought my engine was dying on me, I was just overburdening by cranking up the a/c. Did I mention they didn't even charge me for coming in that day and having it checked out? My car looks better now, after hitting a deer at full speed on the interstate, than it did when I bought it. The staff (especially Fabio) are friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you're happy with the job. After my collision repair, they even cleaned the entire interior of the car (which was beyond filthy)! read more

Beyond excited and pleased with the results of the work that Paul's did on my Mazda! Everything from insurance dealings to rentals was stress free. The end results?..Like looking at a brand knew car. After an incident, which was out of my control, my white Mazda needed a paint job. I had fear due to the fact it has a pearl hue and I had seen white car paint jobs go very wrong. When I tell you my car looks beautiful its the truth! Paul's even repaired the small cracks on the undercarriage that everyday wear and tear causes, as well as detailed before it was returned to me. My daily life is busy and the stress of fixing my car, which was a must for me, was giving me a headache!! I was introduced to Fabio and it was smooth sailing from there.
