I wanted to to see if it would be possible to continue having sessions with Dr. Shuy, via telehealth appointments, while I'm living in the California area. Dr. Shuy was just as kind, caring, and understanding as he always has been. He permitted me to have sessions with him via long distance, and we've already met for several long distances sessions, via the phone, since I recently reached out to him. Dr. Shuy is truly one of the most gifted and knowledgeable Psychologists that I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. I had been scheduled for a procedure but when I arrived at the appointment I was informed about some limitations needed to ensure that results were good. At the time, I could not stick to those limitations and decided to reschedule the appointment. The office staff was unable to reschedule at the time and I was told I would receive a call to make the new appointment. After not receiving that call in a week, I called the appointment phone number and left a message (their message said someone would call back within one hour). Another week went by and I called two times in a day - same lack of result. The last time I told them that this would be the last phone call I made to them. I have still not received a call back. I am now in the process of looking for a new Dermatologist.
