Excellent site with great facilities and location. We had a pitch next to the cliff top with stunning views of the sea and sunsets.

We had a wonderful holiday at this campsite. The staff were very friendly, and the whole place was spotlessly clean and well organized. The bathrooms and showers are modern and perfectly maintained. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the pool: it's beautiful, but people were playing with balls and diving, which disturbed others, despite the clear signs forbidding it. Unfortunately, no one seemed to enforce these rules. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this campsite! read more

Had a great 2 weeks. But a couple things can be improven. Like the cleanness of the toilet buildings, below 1,5 meters its clean, but if you look up, spiders and spider webs everywhere. Furthermore the showerheads are extremely painfull, even whithout sunburn, so impossible to shower with a sunburn. You made these as uncomfortable as possible, also with pressing the button every 10 seconds. I understand the button, but 10 -15 seconds is way to short. Also the drains in the shower were very smelly like they are never cleaned. Would also be nice if every building had showers and toilets, not 1 for showering and another for the toilets. We had to walk a long way to shower from our pitch. read more

Fabulous campsite with great facilities and the location is spot on. We were very impressed with the cleaning regime, the site is spotless. The big highlight for us was that this year was travelled out of school holidays and this is definitely a site to visit in September. No queues for the showers or toilets and although the site was busy with later holiday makers, it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The reception staff was so friendly and welcoming. We will be back next year for sure, best campsite ever! read more

Super leuke camping, we kwamen er voor de tweede keer terug. In 2022 waren we er voor 2 weken, nu voor enkele dagen. De camping was volzet, maar toch is het er vrij rustig. Het nieuwe zwembad is top en de ligging aan de oceaan is waarvoor we (terug)komen. Enkele kleine aandachtspunten: goed werkende wifi die alle camperspots bereikt en meer zeteltjes aan het zwembad. Die ruimte is er aan de ene kant en zo kan iedereen die er is, ook zitten. De prijs voor deze camping is hoog, duurder dan dit is zou het niet mogen zijn. Om die reden kwamen we nu ook maar voor enkele dagen. read more

Had another lovely holiday at Pavillon Royal. great scenery , mountains, sea and good weather, what more could you wish for. Spoiled by party till 2-00am in the morning but was promptly dealt with by the management once informed. One of the best sites we have ever stayed on but could be 5 star if toilets and showers were together and updated. Facilities for disabled need improvement , including beach access. Since 15 years (our first time in pavillon) we did not manage to find another campsite that is somewhat similar. This is the ultimate holiday. Luxurous campsite, beautiful villages nearby, nice food, friendly people, sporty beach(people), beautiful waves, all located in France. Thanks again!! read more

Very nice camp site, all the facilities you require for camping with excellent access to the beach for surfing, which was a big highlight. The toilets and showers where kept clean but for a 5 star camp site they could of been cleaned twice a day. The staff where very friendly and would always go out of there way to help. The only real issue we had was the lane the runs adjacent between the golf course and the camp site, at night youngsters would be coming back in the early hours and wake us. Then to top it off we where positioned right next to the club house and they would get 6am deliveries which would also wake us. Generally a great camp site with some great places to see ie Biarritz. The area is very hilly, so cycling with youngsters is not the easiest, take the bus its easy and quite cheap. read more

Resent visit to camping pavilion exceeded all my expectations. Clean well maintained site. All visitors had high respect for facilities. Site Shop well stocked. Friendly helpful employees always on hand to assist. restaurant busy and recommended. Position is unbelievable. Great access to roads to all points of interest in the area. We had a nice stay at the camping. We were happy that one spot was left. Nice place at the see side/beach. Nice swimming pool with good relax possibilities, chairs with umbrella's. No beach facilities. The camping was quite near Biarritz center, approximately 2-3 kms, easy to reach by bike. Cycling paths present. General facilities at the camping are good (electricity, water) although we expected a bit more from a 5 star camping. We did not have WIFI reception at our site and despite complaints, no follow-up. (good wifi was one of the reasons why we booked this 5* camping). Toilets without seats is something we do not expect. Although the toilets and showers are very thoroughly cleaned once a day, full blocks (men/women) are out of use for more than one hour, exactly at high demand times in the morning (7-9). We suggest to plan differently. read more

We stayed as a family of 5 in early August and thought the site was exceptional in the location, the facilitites, especially the food offering and the friendliness of the front desk. We'd definatly come again. read more

A good 9 days at the campsite, interrupted by a storm and a few rainy days. The facilities are good, toilets and showers clean. The pitch sizes were small and not much privacy compared to other sites. I was pleased to see the signs up advising of no noise after 10.30pm and no skate boards, however this was not policed!! Groups of teenagers congregating with music blasting, and skateboards a plenty! A very busy site, beach and pool. The pool is very basic but clean. The shop well stocked but over priced, but nothing new there. Restaurant was nice, with friendly staff. All in all a good site in a great location, unfortunately it did not work for us as a family as it was just too busy, and the site felt very cramped. At over 100 euros per night for 2 adults, 2 children, a small camper and a tent, was very expensive. read more
