This was a good meat and three spot, very straightforward. Food is good, doesn't blow you away, but good food for a good price. I would go again. They have a drive through as well.

A colleague and I went through the drive thru for some lunch. It was right at noon and the parking lot was packed. Even so, we ordered our meals and had them in hand within a couple minutes. The staff at the window were very pleasant. The food was delicious! I had one of their Wednesday specials: meatloaf. I got the squash casserole (yum!), fried green tomatoes (yum yum!) and the jalapeño cornbread (triple yum!). The portion sizes are generous. I paid $11.37 with tax. This was my first meal from this spot but I'd definitely go back.

I consider Paw Paw patch my "old faithful" spot. Whenever I'm craving vegetables over french fries, I know that they've got me covered. The restaurant is located in Homewood, near the Aldi and Smoothie King. I typically go through the drive through but have also dined inside a few times. The staff is always so kind and friendly, I really enjoy speaking with them each visit. My fav thing on the menu is the turkey and dressing, which is served on Thursdays. The squash casserole and butter beans are my fav side. I've also tried their cobbler for dessert and enjoyed it. It's a pretty traditional meat and three with a down home feel and recipes.

Honestly, the food at Pawpaw's Patch was disgusting. It tasted like hospital food and had zero seasoning. The gravy tasted like it came straight from a packet, and the mac and cheese was dry and crusty like it was the last corner left in the pan. The only thing I liked was the roll. The rice might've been okay, but they ruined it with that same gravy.I went through the drive-through and tried to add a side at the window. I was the only person in line, but they still told me I had to drive all the way back around to the speaker just to order one side. That was annoying and made no sense. The price was decent, but I wish the food matched. Definitely won't be going back.

We aren't from this area, but passing by and stopped in for lunch. It's cafeteria style food. The line looked long, but it goes by pretty quick. The place is definitely packed! You pretty much go in the line and let them know what foods you want, take your tray and get seated. After you eat, then you go to the register and pay. Their fried chicken wasn't bad at all. My favorite thing here was their Mac n cheese. I also liked their cornbread. I tried both styles and both were good. I also tried their berry cobbler. I'm more of a peach cobbler kind of gal because I like my cobbler sweet. The berries gave this cobbler a tart taste. In all, I didn't have a bad experience.

Good food, not great, but good. The price is unbelievable especially for the area. Very nice staff, and plan on coming back.

Average meat and three restaurant. Good selection of foods--nice variety. Taste is on par with other local restaurants of the same type.

The chicken had flavor, it was cooked well, and it did not feel heavy at all. The sides were fresh and balanced, and everything tasted like real food instead of something overly seasoned or oily. I am pretty picky, so finding a place where I genuinely like the whole plate is rare. The inside has a clean and calm vibe, which I love. It is bright and feels welcoming without being loud or chaotic. I dined in, and the service was quick and friendly. They also make it really easy to spot vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, which is helpful for people who want something lighter or have specific preferences. Overall, I would definitely come back. It is simple, fresh, and dependable, and the food actually tastes good without trying to be fancy. Perfect spot when you want something that feels healthier but still satisfying.

Infinite amount of stars for the food but negative one star for how slow they are. So very hard to…read morerate this place. So here is the downfall. It might have been the slowest dinner I ever had in my life. I had a 7:00 PM reservation and I arrived early and sat down at 6:50. After being greeted and ordering wine I placed an order of the pork belly appetizer at 7:05. The pork belly appetizer came out at 8:00, 55 minutes after ordering. I placed the entree order at 7:30 and it came out at 8:30. There were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. Two three tops and a two top so not even large tables. Why on earth is it taking an hour to get out an order. I have my credit card at 8:50 and got it back at 9:15. 25 minutes to charge a card? I mean I guess you can get busy but the 4 tables here had 3 people helping with them. At no point when the server came by my table did I ever say I needed another minute. So, a 2.5+ hour dinner as a single diner was ridiculous, especially considering they were not busy. The food here was truly incredible, some of the best I've had anywhere I've traveled. I absolutely loved it. You can tell they source fresh, local ingredients daily, and that commitment clearly shines through in the quality of every dish. I started with the pork belly appetizer, which was outstanding. The cut had the perfect balance of meat and fat, expertly cooked with the fat beautifully rendered. The flavors were exceptional as well, finished with a maple glaze and paired with a sweet potato cornbread that was completely unique and memorable. For my main course, I ordered the smoked ribeye, and it was flawless. The quality was top-tier, with gorgeous marbling that truly reflected a prime cut. The smoke flavor was perfectly balanced--present but never overpowering. It had a beautiful crust, was expertly seasoned, and cooked to an ideal temperature. It honestly could not have been better. They also offered a few amuse-bouches that were equally impressive. A single bite of cherry tomato with lamb bacon was one of the best bites I've ever had. To finish, I was served a watermelon and muscadine sorbet with a St-Germain finish, an incredibly thoughtful and skillful dessert. There is an immense amount of talent in this kitchen. You will never be disappointed by the food here. My experience seemed to be overshadowed by the slow service and near the end I was so ready to just leave. However I might consider returning just for the food.
