I used an in home pet euthanasia provider when I lived in Ohio and it was a wonderful experience. When it came time for my boy to cross the rainbow bridge, I searched for a provider in the Fort Worth area. I decided to use this provider as she was available the soonest. Pro - availability Cons - EVERYTHING ELSE First, I did. Not feel she had any empathy or compassion for my situation. I have another dog in excellent health that was excited to see we had a visitor. She was short with him and acted as if he was an annoyance. Second, it is expensive to do in home pet euthanasia. I know this and expected it. To get his cremains back was an additional $325 or $350 , I honestly don't remember but I didn't care, I wanted him back. I was notified by text that he was ready to come home and I was expected to pick him up. I live in SW Fort Worth and she is in Bedford. This was not told to me prior to receiving this text. For the extra amount charged, I think he should have been delivered back home. I went and picked him up. There sat a little blue bag on her porch. Included was a paw print but no stand to display it. Not once in our texting did she inquire how either myself or other dog were doing. Seems like once she was paid, I was of no concern, And last, at the time of his passing, she launched into a lengthy prayer. Again, not discussed ahead of time. How does she know if the pet owner desires this or its parr of their beliefs? I do not recommend using this provider. read more

Dr Kim Simpson listens well and communicates clearly. She was gentle and kind with my cat even helped me put her body in a carrier. It is nice to meet someone that shows love in your vulnerable time. read more

I made the dreaded decision to send my beloved cocker spaniel to rainbow bridge due to lymphoma. Dr. Simpson was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. She explained everything that was going to happen, she treated my fur baby with gentleness and kindness and even said a prayer for both of us. Dr Simpson is an angel. After being told by so many other vets, specialists, and surgeons there was nothing we could do for our baby, we thought it was time to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. We made the dreaded call to Pet Loss at Home and we were connected with Dr Simpson. We scheduled for the euthanasia. When she came to our house, she took one look at our baby and told us she didn't think it was time to let her go. She asked what meds she was on and knew it wasn't enough. She prescribed us more medicine for our baby to help manage the pain but also maintain her good quality of life. She gave us hope where we had run out and gave us more time with our girl. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Dr. Simpson for her kindness, compassion, and gentleness during our last month with "the best dog ever", Lucy. We moved to the area knowing our girl was sick. After a very dificult night, we call Dr. Simpson. She came to our apartment, examined Lucy and suggested we try treating her for her pain. Within a day, she began eating again. Though we knew she was not cured this short rebound gave us the time to accept the reality that our puppy was tired and ready to rest. Dr. Simpson is the absolute best. My sweet, sweet girl was diagnosed with leukemia and after finding out that her regular vet didn't make house calls, I wad told about Paws at Peace Pet Hospice. No one likes to make the decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet who is a family member, but it's the most selfless thing a pet parent can do when their senior dog's body is shutting down and he's showing pain despite effort to control and suppress it. I cannot express how comforting it was to have Dr. Simpson come to my home and peacefully send my 14 year old golden retriever to Heaven, taking him from his pain and making his old body new again. I am so grateful she has chosen this as her profession. My golden boy had been a part of my life since he was 6 weeks old and we had the strongest bond. Hardest decision to make in my life, but I'm glad I was led to find Dr. Simpson and she was able, willing, and unrushed to drive across DFW to assist him before driving back the opposite direction for another family. From her gentle nature to her understanding and even a follow up call the next day to check on my well-being made it a comforting and reassuring decision that I had chosen the right person to make my best friend's transition easier and leave me without regrets.
