Given the fact that all I knew of him was a picture on a website I was exceedingly lucky to adopt a dog from this particular kennel. It is obvious they take excellent care of their dogs and also obvious that they breed for dogs in a matter that produces excellent temperament. As a clinical psychologist, I'm very much appreciate how kind and sweet my dog is. I am now living in a senior living place with over 400 senior citizens. He wins everybody's heart. I was told just to bring my dog in and they would take care of her. My dog is 15lbs. A small terrier. Super simple. 2 hours max to wash and cut her since she's very chill and small with short hair. Figured since they had no appointment system they had it down to a science to get pets in and out. I was mistaken. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am. When I walked in, it was pure chaos. Dogs in cages packed in the front crying and barking. It's typical for a groomer to have dogs in kennels while they wait to be groomed or picked up but not in the front? Super strange. When I was greeted it was very transactional. Fine. I didn't ask questions and I felt like it wouldn't be long with her. We never waited more than 3 hours for our dog start to finish. 4 hours went by and no call. Super odd so my wife called in. Told her she wasn't ready yet. So we call again at 2:40 and the lady was rude to my wife and told her "she will be ready when she's ready and we will call you when she is". That right there should have been when we decided to just go and pick her up. Mind you I can guarantee she sat in the same damn cage all day with no water and no chance to go outside to pee or poop. I didn't pay for her to be kenneled up all day. Paid to be groomed. We figured at this point screw it, it really can't be that much longer. They know we have been calling and what could another 30-45 minutes do? We figured we would wait longer because it probably been a month overdue that our dog needed a grooming. Once again didn't trust our guts and feel bad for it. It was another 2 hours before she was ready. Over 7 hours to groom a small dog with short hair. What in the F? I truly hope this business fails. I work in the service industry and there's things that come with a service you pay for. An expectation for the service you are paying for and this place misses the mark by a million miles. So if you don't mind leaving your dog in a cage all day with people who don't care about your pet have at it, but if you do and do care for your pet unlike this business please look elsewhere. Make the drive elsewhere and spend the extra few bucks. You will thank your self and your pet will be happy you did.

Over the last few months new groomers have transitioned in and I was never really satisfied with the cut but my dog always came home clean and it was near my house. Two Sundays ago I took my dog to get groomed and he came back horribly cut. And two days later he was scratching a lot. When I checked there was a circular sore. My dog does not interact with any animals outside of going to the groomers we keep him in the house and the backyard. Well one sore grew to five sores and we had to take him to the vet yesterday, and she confirmed that it was not ringworm but it was a bacteria. I am 99.9999% sure that my sweet boy contracted this bacteria from grooming at this establishment. They were likely rushing and not cleaning clippers & tools between animals. Now we have a 30 day regimen with meds and shampoos and $150 veterinary bill.

First time here - loved it…read more At our 'former' groomer in Weatherford, we're used to dropping our dog off and leaving her there, pretty much all day. This is with an appointment earlier in the day. I was never happy about this. Well, no more. We're thrilled with the process at Bubbles and Bows here in our new home of Mansfield. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. They completed Tinker's groom in about 2 hours and she got to lounge in a special area with other groomed dogs afterwards. When we picked her up, she seemed to be in great spirits and not stressed. Yes, we paid a premium here vs our old place in Weatherford but we feel the stress reduction for Tinker, not waiting in a cage all day to be groomed is worth it. We've already made our next appointment.
