They have a wide range of products on display and the staff has knowledge of most of them. The products are also slightly cheaper than other chemists in the area and the chemist also offers many alternatives if you cannot find what you are after. Another big advantage of this chemist is that they accept card payment so you don't have to walk down the king street to the bank to withdraw cash. Overall I think this chemist is one of the best in the local area and it will be for a while.

I feel really cheated by The Organic Pharmacy. I went to take their Quantum QX test which is touted…read moreas an allergy test. Alongside that I had a 'homeopathic assessment' to try and ease my bad skin. Now, one month later I feel like I have been cheated out of over £100. The homeopathic assessment consisted of a series of questions that were incredibly personal. This would have been fine if the therapist had come to some kind of conclusion or answered any of my questions (she evaded my questions and I still have no idea why she asked me about my dreams and other personal questions). I think I wouldn't have been so disappointed if the allergy test was accurate. However, when I received the results I realised that it was basically a list of the things I ate for lunch that previous week. I phoned them to complain and was told (by an extremely rude and patronising store manager, who wouldn't let me hang up the phone even though I was getting increasingly upset, she preferred to continue to lecture me) that this was the way it worked and there was no way I would be getting any sympathy, an apology or any money back. Don't go - you might end up feeling cheated too.

It is also handy, because it is right next to Somerfield supermarket and is across the road from the train station. The staff are always very helpful and polite and they truly value loyal custom. I usually go there for prescriptions, but they have also got the obligatory toiletries etc for sale too, so I suppose people would find that handy too. There are a lot of buses that stop nearby and there are parking spaces available outside, which is great.

The pharmacy is pretty tiny but it's right next to the Garratt Lane medical centre too which makes it super handy. They sell all the usual things here and the staff are particularly nice at this little pharmacy - I always find the staff a little dull / brain dead in these places but they're particularly cheerful here. This is a small, local pharmacy - if you're after a full, high street Boots branch you will be disappointed. However, if you need toothpaste or cosmetics or painkillers or you need to have your prescription filled, this is the place. The staff have, by and large, been working there for some time. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They know the regulars (the chemist is near the train station and near a general store, a couple of restaurants, a bakery and other very local type shops) and are happy to advise. I have never had to wait in a queue for very long, and have found the experience quick and pleasant.

I'm not a crazed hypochondriac with irrational fears of every type of living bacteria known to man. I'm not, I swear. I just like pharmacies. Like many pharmacies this place is really pleasant. It's clean and has a bright, salubrious glow. I was served quite quickly as there was no queue at all. The other customers in the pharmacy were obvious regulars. The pharmacist knew them by name and they were having really lively, in-depth conversations. Next time I need antibiotics I will definitely stop by this place.
