I just got my kitchen done and it was worth every minute of discomfort I went through for a month. The result is an amazingly gorgeous kitchen, bright, and very well designed. The sales representative was very helpful, and considerate. My project manager was patient and really great with following up. Everyone who came in to help make this kitchen, did a great job. From Salvador the backsplash installer, to Israel, the cabinet installer...Every morning they showed up with an enthusiastic disposition, they were very clean - cleaning up before they left. Every problem that was raised Israel had a practical solution to offer and implement, for example, he customized many of the cabinets and the end result came out very precise and professional. The flooring installer was very efficient, worked quietly, and the floor came out beautiful.The expert work the countertop installers did was excellent.. my walls were not straight, right away they found a solution, in order to keep the alignment accurate - instead of running away from the extra work, they found a way of fixing the defective alignment and it looks wonderful. I'm enjoying my kitchen so much, I always wake up with a huge smile on my face. I'm VERY happy with the result. If i knew this is how I was going to feel I would've done the remodel 10 years ago!! I wanted a tub replacement for a shower tub. Salesperson tried to convince me tearing out wall and tile was a good idea because an acrylic tile wannabee was a better option. They paint a pretty picture but they don't come through with the service they say they will give. the prices are very high, they sell you on a project but then they don't put everything on an itemized statement. so things that you talked about are only verbal and not included. they will get you for more money after you sign the contract. there were so many different people coming to my home, they were not as professional as I expected, they assign you a project manager and tell you they are available all the time, but mine did not return my texts or would take hours or till next day to reply. I am a very easy going person, and I gave benefit of the doubt to them, I was wrong, I should have complained, but it would have only prolonged the agony of it all. WHICH IT WAS. I came to Payless Kitchen Cabinets without a clue as to how to start a whole house remodel. There were so many components that I had to consider and the task was initially daunting. In fact, I was often so overwhelmed by where to start first that I kept putting off the start of any project. However, a kitchen leak was the incident that spurred me to take action. I called PKC and Jonathan came out to walk me through the process. He was courteous, professional, and answered all my questions. I had PKC help me with new kitchen cabinets, countertop, a and flooring. But there were other elements I needed to deal with, as well. Installation of new appliances, whole house re-plumbing, repainting the interior of my home, and much more. PKC was patient and flexible and worked around my time frame as I completed these other tasks. I was very happy with the end result. I was in constant communication with Carlos. Anytime there was an issue or a hitch, he worked in a timely manner to resolve them to my satisfaction. I was very happy with his attention to the issues I raised. A big worry many people have are contractors who work multiple projects and whose work time on a project on any given day is unpredictable. Thankfully, PKC did not let me down. They were predictable, on time, and professional. However, there are some words of advice I would give to anyone who is looking to remodel their homes. Understand that while PKC is a "one-stop-shop," it does not do everything. For example, PKC doesn't do electrical work, painting, or plumbing. That means if you're looking to do other fix-its to your house, you will need to determine in what order to do them in, and where and when PKC fits in. For someone like me who had NO clue how to approach a big project like this, I would have loved to have some kind of checklist on paper from PKC so I could figure out the order of my the projects involved in my remodel. When do I bring in the electrician? Should I do the plumbing first? These things might be common sense for some people, but it was a struggle for me with so much that I needed to do. I would have loved PKC to step in and develop a written game plan with me to determine how to fit in the work they do within my entire whole house remodeling goals. Sometimes, I felt I was winging my way through the different steps. Also remember that PKC offers prefabricated cabinets. There is nothing wrong with this. I saved a ton of money and loved the end result. But it may be a challenge to have certain pre-fabricated items nicely fit within the contours of your kitchen if you have a kitchen with some unconventional or abnormal shapes. PKC walked me through this and gave me a heads up when this would be the case. They were transparent with me, which I greatly appreciated. Be sure you know what kind of flooring and countertops you want. PKC offered me vinyl flooring (a great choice for durability, especially since I have a dog) and either granite or quartz countertops. I was happy with these choices, but be sure to inquire about other choices if you're not tied to these options. Overall, I was very happy with what PKC did for me. read more

He doesn't leave with a sale because the price was way over the advertisement but he Promised to let me know what he could do. Over a month later and nothing. I even called last week and a very apologetic staffer promised to hsupervisor call me. Nothing. Their advertising is very misleading and you will get quoted double so please be warned that the paper advertisement is so restrictive and with all the extra stuff your kitchen needs the price will be double that. Payless Bath Makeover did a partial re-model of my tiny bathroom a few months ago and I've been quite pleased with the results. The project involved removing the crummy old bathtub, faucet, tile, and glass sliding door. The space was converted to a shower stall with beautiful & extremely easy-to-clean (!!) faux subway tile acrylic panel walls, a new sliding glass door, and a Moen hand-held shower. I love it. They also replaced the old linoleum flooring with nice vinyl planks that look like distressed wood. Ani, the designer, came to my house with a sales pitch and a case full of samples. However, she wasn't pushy and, as the project proceeded, she was detail-oriented and responded promptly when I emailed with questions. The project occurred just as she described it would. Once it began, the entire job took just a few days and everyone was extremely professional (the exception to this was a plumber from a different company that Payless Bath Makeover arranged for because of an unexpected problem with the old drain pipe -- he replaced the pipe but he showed up hours late, was ill-prepared, didn't clean up after himself, and scratched the new acrylic shower pan. Because I complained about the scratches, his work was free). read more

This company is a joke. Paid 1000 dollar deposit on May 4, 2021 for new shower and bath flooring. Completion was supposed to be 1st week of July, about 2 months. Then they moved date to end of July. Now beginning of September. They did not order shower pieces until mid June, which is ridiculous. Now they want 50 percent of the 15000 price tag for restocking. That would be 7500. They have charged 4300 for materials plus 1000 for nothing. read more

Payless Kitchen Cabinets is a joke. Working with them has been a nightmare to say the least. It has been over a month of having people going back and forth and arguing with the project manager to provide the work they promised during the sales pitch. The salesperson told me one thing but wrote minimal information on the contract so later they can deny it. They sell you a dream and pressure you to sign the contract but are not honest about the process. Caroline, the project manager is completely rude, dismissive, and acts likes she is doing you a favor instead of realizing I am a paying customer. This was not cheap. She does not respond to text or emails for days. They schedule contractors without consulting prior for availability. It has been such a stressful experience; I DO NOT RECOMMEND Payless Kitchen Cabinets to anyone. She was going to charge me 1k to add a 9" cabinet to the design!! Absolutely ridiculous. Caroline tried to force me to pay more for a countertop after they decided to purchase a smaller which did not fit with my initial kitchen design. Now they are refusing to install the faucet and garbage disposal. So, a company who demolishes your kitchen, removes the faucet and garbage disposal does not install one at the end? How is that a complete and working kitchen? Learn from my mistake of not doing research on the company and please read your contract before signing. They will add/remove things in the contract that is convenient for them so they can save money all while charging you an arm and a leg for the most basic kitchen remodel. They pressure you into signing a contract within a specific time or else you "loose" the deal. Find a different company. This placed just caused stressed for the past month, its not worth it.
