Eaten here a few times now, and the food has always been a 10/10. Seriously the BEST Mediterranean food I've ever had. Well worth it and the prices are fair.

Always fabulous. Went for my Birthday and had a wonderful time. Can't go wrong with the saganaki! Our server was very nice and ambience is always relaxing. Again, they have the best chicken fingers!

Service 5/5. Food 4/5. Ambiance 6/5. Ordered the Fesenjan which like others have mentioned is a bit on the sweeter side. I personally liked it as I have a big sweet tooth. We also order baba ganoush for the table that came with pita bread slices. My friend order the tandoori fish tandoori which had a nice tart lemony marinade over the salmon and roasted vegetables. Overall cool place and good food but a bit pricey. The hookah lounge is located right next door. Luckily areas are separated so there's no hookah smell wafting in while you eat.

Serving Las Vegas since 1988 Paymon's Restaurant is as close as it gets to a local "institution," its longevity attributable to fair prices and the sort of Food that is "ethnic" but familiar and focused on good products made fresh daily. A labor of love from Paymon Raouf, the decision to change from a "Mediterranean Café" to a "Fresh Kitchen and Lounge" in 2020 seeing the menu expand into Indian and Italian options, plates still focus on healthy preparation eschewing additives and preservatives with options to suit most dietary preferances. Ordered as delivery, everything arriving temperature appropriate in individual packaging, the first thing one will notice is that instead of just Rice the Kabobs arrive with Roasted Vegetables and Potatoes with limited Salt but lots of seasoning to match moist but well-cooked Meats. Teamed with Jeff Ecker since 2000, a number of accolades earned since, Paymon's Baba Ganosh arrives chunky with lots of Garlic matched to bright acidity, though Pita is unfortunately no better than the store bought stuff. Looking next at Fesenjan, decent but a far cry from Zaytoon in terms of taste or consistency, dueling Desserts perform well whether one prefers thick Baklava with Walnuts or large-grain Rice Pudding with Whipped Cream on top that eats light like the versions in France.

I have loved this restaurant since they were on Maryland parkway! Excellent service from the nicest team. Water was kept full, food came out quickly, and was delicious as always. Didn't get fesenjan on this visit, but HIGHLY recommend that dish. Lots of parking, lots of seating, and they have the hookah lounge there too.

Came here with a large group (more than 10 people), and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Reservations are required for groups this size and a card is needed on file, which made the process smooth and well-organized--definitely the right move for busy nights. The food was fantastic. The calamari was perfectly cooked--light, crispy, and not greasy. I also ordered the Broiled Kabob Trio, which was a great way to sample their most popular kabobs. Each one was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Service handled our large party efficiently without feeling rushed, and everything came out timely. Great food, solid service, and a well-run operation for big groups. Would absolutely come back, especially for group dinners.

Food: good variety of ethnic dishes to try. Tried comfort food gyro and the portion is worth the price. Good flavors. The vegetables had a nice seasonings to them. Service: good attentive service. Not too much smile but they provide good service. Ambience: hookah lounge nearby; tables for mostly groups. No bar and tables are even too large for couples. Mainly for large groups.

Food was really good! The ambience is very colorful and fun which I thought was nice. The service was great as well, she was very attentive. Only problem I had was the funky jazz beats that were slightly too loud and playing the whole time

I have been here several times since my last review. Most recently being today. I love that they continue to be vegan friendly and their food is very light and delicious. I have been having a hard time eating out lately due to dietary restrictions and I always feel good after eating here! My mini me also loves the hummus and olives. The combination platter is big enough for both of us and to have leftovers. The lentil soup was delicious and perfectly seasoned.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food! Highly recommend Paymons. If you are looking to relax after work during the week or party with friends on the weekends this place won't disappoint. Very affordable and you can't beat happy hour prices here.

The atmosphere, service and food is beyond compare, exceptional in every way! The baba ghanoush, hummus, Gyro platter and so much more was just over the top! Can't wait to go back again. And an excellent vibe! Can't wait to come back!

There is a regular restaurant section and a designated lounge for both hookah and food. This is a great late night place to hang out or do work. I would say that the lounge is a bit louder due to the music and there were strobe lights, which sets the tone for a great group hangout, but there were plenty of solo individuals doing work on their personal laptops. We love the food here and always leave feeling satiated. Both dishes had different sauces and rice, but everything was incredibly tasty. I cannot complain about anything that we ate tonight. I would say the hookah was a bit harsh for me, but it toned down after a bit and then I was able to partake.

We started with our usual grilled octopus, which unfortunately was dry, chewy, and lacked the flavor we remembered. The short rib arancini was equally disappointing--it was dry, and the short rib filling was virtually nonexistent. The only highlights of the meal were the bread basket and the short rib agnolotti, both of which were excellent and lived up to our expectations. To make matters worse, the table next to us brought in a small dog. I'm a dog lover and even take my own dog to pet-friendly places, but unless it's a legitimate service animal, I don't believe it belongs in what's meant to be a fine dining experience. This was clearly not a service animal, and it distracted from what was already a disappointing evening. After so many wonderful experiences here over the years, this was the first time we've left truly disappointed. I sincerely hope this was just an off night, because Scarpetta has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.

No Italian food anywhere this good since Felix Trattoria in LA opened with the glassed in humidified Nonna Room where Chef Evan wielded his chitarra and made Sausage Tortellini with his sausage fingers. Felix was the Italian version of the glass Dumpling cage at Din Tai Fung where the 18 year olds made 18 folds all Din Tai day. Many Italian Restaurants use store bought Pasta. It's an acceptable Chef cheat. Some even go to the trouble to buy Bronze Dye Extruded dry Pasta as it pits the Pasta to help absorb Sauce. Here, the Pasta is all made by hand. (Renta Nonna?) All hands on deck and on the Rigatoni. There is a discernable difference especially when the fresh handmade Pasta is cooked quickly to keep it as toothsome as Ferraro's does it. The Decor: Rich, warm, welcoming, earthy and understated elegant. So, no warehouse close out of Majolica Pottery. The Hostess will greet you as if you were really someone she'd like to sit next to at Thanksgiving. This place is located off The Strip in a Strip Mall and thankfully no street stripper cajoling you to take a photo with her/him for a ten-spot. The Bar: As full as a Bar can get with some of most anything you can order to go with anything you can pick from the ambitious menu, and the wine list is heroic. Overwhelmed by the signature Cocktails I finally picked a Drunken Strawberry with a little push from Ivana the wonderful Server who cared for me like the first night with an adopted pound puppy. My drink had Porter's Tropical Old Tom Style Gin, Chamberryzette (Strawberry Aperitif), Aperol, and Fabbri Fregola (Strawberries in Syrup). It leaned sweet, and two more would have had me leaning in the street. Within minutes Fabio the "Bread Boy" offered a tray of complimentary warm Rustic Rolls which were favuloso along with rectangles of Foccacia. The House made Tapenade was meraviglioso. The Staff: Ivana was as warm as the beautiful Rustic Rolls. She was charming and genuinely concerned about every detail to insure that all her guests enjoyed everything they selected from the huge menu. And they all did. Who's here? Locals, regulars, expats all dreaming of what they ate every Sunday at their Nonna's kitchen table. Of course there were a few turisti who ventured off The Strip which rivals Bourbon St. and Times Square for being a rip. You'd have to know this wonderful place is here and now you do. The Food: It is simply not possible to make a mistake or bad choice here. The food is exceptional. The Ravioli with a chunk of Beef Cheek inside was brilliant. This could've been a main course. The Arancini Cacio e Pepe was the size of a Rawlings Baseball only much easier to chew. It's a Black Pepper and Pecorino-Romano Cheese Rice Ball breaded and fried then topped with a Truffle Cream Sauce laced with flecked and bits of Black Truffle. (Ask for a side of Crestor). While crisp is America's favorite flavor, apparently, it's Italy's too. Crunchy and creamy these were beyond delicious. Finally, the third appetizer took a bow. Crudo di Coda Ricciola (thin slices of Yellowtail), with Fennel, Hazelnuts, Capers, Calabrese Chili Oil and a drizzle of White Balsamic Vinegar. This was more than just fish. It's more than you could wish for, capeesh? My Caesar was good enough to hail. Creamy, Garlicy Dressing with just a hint of Anchovy and Toasted Bread Crumbs replacing soggy Croutons. Lovely. The Lobster Aragosta (like saying Shrimp Scampi), was pried out of it's shell (like a debutant at her first dance) tableside with the expertise of a trauma surgeon. The Pasta was perfect, nice and spicy, and coiled attractively with a fork in a ladle and more than enough for four hungry Construction Workers. Lobster in unskilled hands is often bouncy and rubbery. Not this one, it was tender, slightly transluscent, sightly briny and half buried in the Fresh Pomodoro Sauce. I ate way more of this delicious Pasta than I had any right or ability to. It was addictive with one bite. So, yes it was worth the 4 plus hour schelp from LA to get here. Ferraro's is the Ferrari of Italian Cuisine (a bitaly of Italy for sure) and might just be the true home of home made Italian food in the Country...any Country.

I was a huge fan of the complimentary starters and to be honest I think they were my favorite part of the meal. A member of the staff comes to your table to serve a chunk of parmesan cheese cut right off the block. You also receive a bowl of pickled cauliflower, a beautifully presented salami rose plate, and a basket of 3 types of fresh bread. Our waiter informed us that everything was served family style and meant to be shared, so I found it interesting that they split our order of Spicy Rigatoni Vodka for us. It's one of their most well-known dishes and we really enjoyed it. The Octopus Pizzaiolo was delicious, especially with the inclusion of the crispy potatoes. The thick piece of fish on the Salmon Oreganata was beautiful but the salmon itself lacked a bit of seasoning. They bring around a dessert cart but we opted out as nothing caught our eye and we were pretty full. They brought out a small birthday dessert with a candle, which was delicious and always appreciated.

We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. It came with a side dish with strawberries and nuts and little chocolate balls. I can't wait to go back again. Next time I'll tell the rest of the table to get their own garlic bread so I don't have to share mine. I'll have dreams about that bread. So heavenly!!!!

I recently visited North Italia and had a great experience. Even though it was busy, we were seated…read morepretty quickly, and the customer service was excellent throughout our visit. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Pesto, and the Pepperoni Pizza with Hot Honey. The Chicken Pesto was a little more lemony than I expected, but I would still order it again because it was very good. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka had the perfect amount of spice not too spicy, but enough to give it great flavor. The Strozzapreti and White Truffle Garlic Bread were not my personal favorites, but my family really enjoyed both of them. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and I would definitely come back.
