*** Buyer Beware ***…read more This store broke my phone and attempted to claim it was broken when brought in. I took two phones in to get a cash exchange and after they conducted a visual inpection I was given a quote and told to come back after they had conducted a technical test on both devices. When I returned I was told that one of the dvices had a cracked screen "they didnt see upon initial inspection" and they couldnt buy it. I took the phones and then luckily remembered that my wife had taken a picture of the phone the night before we took it in with the intent we were going to put it on adverts.ie if we didnt get a decent price at CEX. I went back to the store - told them of this and to their credit they honored the original quote. However - and the reason I am posting this - they KNEW they had broken the phone and if I hadnt had photographic eviidence I have no doubt they would not have paid me and would have continued to claim it was brought in broken.

They were friendly, polite and efficient. Would have no hesitation in recommending Currys and their staff to family and friends. We have in the last year bought all our kitchen appliances in Currys. Two staff at one till I tried to get attention I mean I stood beside them waiting for them to finish speaking about a new bus route but no totally ignored. So I said I'll go hang around the monitors hopefully draw some attention that way nope after 20 minutes of waving my hand at staff walking by me just to be rudely dismissed it was laughable. There was plenty of staff lots intact but all had a zombie look on their face and had zero interest in selling stock. After 40 minutes of trying to get attention I left and went to another electronics store around the corner. Served in minutes.
