Thid place and the people are really put of it…read more For anyone trying to get in contact with these people via phone or email do not waste your time. Literally waited 6 days to recieve a call back from a lady name mendy or mini or something like that who not only was very impatient to me but disrespectful. Litterally had to give her my name 6 exact times before she finally got it right THEN to add insult to me she began to talk smart to me though as if my my name is the problem. After saying she would send me the package for enrollment i waited and waited and called back to get voice mail the rest of the morning. Still no enrollement package Now angry i called to speak to a supervisor who name is supposedly Jessica who is neither responsive to voice mails neither picked up the phone all morning. How do you expect people to want to enroll when the trash answering phones there is being rude and some not even picking up. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY. I FOUND IT MUCH EASIER TO JUST GO TO KCC WHERE THEY WANT STUDENTS. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND this place or services to anyone who respects their time. You guys deserve a zero for customer support. Trash!

I learned a lot and felt very confident by the time I finished the program. The owner, Cionie was very friendly and really cares about each and everyone involved. I would recommend to friends and family!

Over the 20-years that we have been in business we have literally hired thousands and thousands of CNAs at the eight companies we own and operate throughout the State. After a while you start noticing patterns and one of the patterns that we have noticed that compared to most CNA schools, Healthcare Training & Career Consultants (HT&CC) does a GREAT job of preparing CNAs for the workforce. And it's not just me, I have heard Directors of Nursing, HR Managers, and Administrators tell me that they get excited when they see that a CNA applying for a job graduated from HT&CC because they have noticed that HT&CC students tend to come to work far better prepared than most. We have notice that HT&CC graduates seem more comfortable assisting with the activities of daily living, but it's also the little things like already knowing the importance of knocking before entering a room - this is a dignity issue, the critical need to wash hands before and after caring for a patient, providing privacy and blanket coverage when giving a bed bath, even knowing the normal ranges of blood pressure, heart rates, and breathing - things that you would expect that a RN would know but not necessarily a CNA. HT&CC graduates come to work already knowing these things that may seem small to most, but are critical to providing quality care. So when I am asked for recommendation for a CNA school or if one of my daughters wanted to become a CNA, I would without hesitation encourage them to attend HT&CC. And if you want to work as a CNA, know that when we see that a CNA job applicant is a recent graduate from HT&CC they automatically move to the very top of our interview list. Took about 20 minutes to find parking and paid $16 for parking. Unfortunately, when I arrived, my experience was the complete opposite. I was ignored while the person checking customers in assisted several walk-in customers who arrived after me. The reason I called beforehand was because I know many salons specialize in certain hair types, and I wanted to avoid wasting anyone's time. If they didn't service my hair type, I would have appreciated an honest answer over the phone. Instead, I was encouraged to come in, only to feel overlooked once I arrived. I quietly and politely left. I then called the salon to confirm I had gone to the correct location and respectfully shared what had happened with the kind person I had spoken to earlier. I didn't argue or make a scene. I choose to leave situations like this with my peace intact. As a woman of faith, I trust God with justice and hold no resentment. I simply want others to be aware of my experience. If you have textured hair or are outside the salon's typical clientele, non brown skins, you may want to read before making the trip.

Not wanting to hoof it to study at da HPU library 1-2 blocks away near Bishop St. OR study outside on da numerous tables + seats da line Fort Street (I sked I gonna catch TB or a disease from somebody), I go hea to relax, kaukau + study befoa my classes. HOURS? During regular school year, Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 6 PM (closed during HPU holidays). For this summer 2012, hours are Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM (May 14 - Aug. 31, 2012) AC, BABY! Especially welcoming on da days wen downtown no mo' trades + da weather makes you feel as if you're up someone's armpit SAFE, WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. Patronage of this area is limited to HPU students with a valid student ID. No need worry, beef curry, about having bums ask you fo' money, seeing druggies tweak out after their highs, etc. I have empathy fo' da kine populations, but wen I stay paying my hard-earned money to attend college at mo' den $1K PER COURSE, get some tings I no like deal with as I go about my college biz. STUDY, RELAX, REPEAT. There's about a dozen study cubicles situated in da back if you hardcore l'dat + really need to get some studying in. A large screen TV with comfy chairs is available in da middle of da room, and get a few addah sofas + comfy chairs scattered around. PC/PRINTER/WI-FI. The HPU's wi-fi system is available fo' your smartphone, netbook, laptop, or addah kine electronic device. You'll need a login + password. It's not meep-meep RR fast, but respectable enough. If you no mo' computer, get 4 PCs available to log into + utilize fo' writer papers, surf da 'net + print out. Mind you, da buggahs are a wee slowwwwwww. FAVE PLACE TO STUDY ON CAMPUS! I've come here every single freakin' week dis past spring semester + I totally love it. HPU students might not be aware of its existence, esp. since it just opened in Sept. 2011. I like you can come hea + do a variety of things w/o being obligated/forced to be quiet + study. LOCATED? Past da flower shop in the MP building, near HPU's shuttle stop. REVIEW #211
