So incredibly disappointed with this pdq and the quality of the order I received today. The girl that took my order was great. She was incredibly nice and efficient. She told me that my receipts would be at the pickup window. I am now getting home (in Davie) and my 2 orders of waffle fries (that come with the large family meal) are not in the bag. Also, the tenders used to be nice and thin strips. Today they are mammoth 1/2 sized chicken breasts. It makes no sense. The girl at the pickup window was also incredibly rude and completely cut me off mid sentence when I asked for PDQ sauce. Not thrilled and actually a wasted $50. This was my first time at PDQ. The restaurant was very clean and it was quiet, maybe three tables of people eating. The employees were the downfall of our visit. Sadly they were all very young and all joking around, throwing food, messing with the radio and even commenting on guests that were in the living room and laughing. I'm all for kids being kids but ... this was maybe much. We did eat in , but it was super uncomfortable and awkward. Probably not the best descriptor words for a restaurant. The food was actually pretty good, I'd go back but probably to another location. I love that this location had a hand washing station next to the checkout. I decicded to stop to try it out since it close to my apartment. I like you acualtly talk to the person in a window instead of talking to a box to order. It was a more personal touch that I liked. I just ordered the 3 piece tender meal which I got fries and a cup of water. The tender was hot and seasoned enough to eat without any sauces but the sauces did make it better. The girls that work here never get an order right! I've been here several times in the past two months and today was my last visit. The food is usually good, but you must check your to go order. Today they left out an order of tots. I'm not driving 10 minutes back there and 10 minutes back home for something they should have put in the bag. I was craving a chicken sandwich, my usual go to in California is chick-fil-A. So this looked similar in a way. Oh man I wasn't disappointed. So glad I picked this spot. The chicken was so juicy, crunchy and cooked to perfection. Less is more for me. Just chicken,lettuce,cheese and pickles. My friend got the same thing but instead she kept the tomato's. She was very satisfied as well. The waffle fries were good as well. I would have added just a tad bit more salt but that's my own opinion. Other than that it's a must! I love PDQ but this has been by far the worst PDQ I have eaten at . I barely come here because it seems like the only time my order is fresh and made with care is when I order a salad . I never write a review when it is terrible because despite the food always being old and horrible the staff are always very sweet . Well today I've had enough I specifically said to the lady please make sure they make my food fresh . With me being on my lunch break at work I get all the way to work and guess what my food isn't fresh . Came to this location for their soft opening. I used the drive-through and was promptly greeted by a friendly employee handing out samples of their delicious salted caramel cookies. The next employee took my order and you could tell they are still going through some training here but there was a more knowledgeable person there helping him the whole time. The whole experience was prompt and easy. They did make a slight mistake with my order but I'm not too picky and I ate it anyway. Food was still really good. I also like how they have a lot of healthy options. It's rare to find a fast, healthy restaurant. Where else can you get drive-thru grilled chicken and broccoli? Very happy PDQ came to the area. We had never tried PDQ, so we figured why not. After reading other reviews, I realized they seem to make their own sauces and hand batter their own chicken. We got the family meal with 16 tenders, corn, salad to share and waffle fries and also too many cookies. Everything was so good!! And fresh!! First time trying this place. Gave 2 stars because the young lady at the drive thru was a sweetheart, and food presentation was there. Other than that there was nothing special about the meal I ordered. I ordered the Spicy Jack Sandwich meal with waffle fries $12.47. Unfortunately for me, the food was cold , like it's been sitting out all day waiting on the next customer, you can see in the picture that the cheese isn't even melted. It was dead on a Sunday, so there was no reason for the food to be cold. Requested ranch and garlic sauce, only got the ranch, which had no flavor. I drove off already, so I didn't go back to request it to be made fresh (which I shouldn't need to). Anyway the lemonade and waffles were decent, nice proportion, the spicy chicken tender itself is good once warmed. This place is pretty awesome. The Chicken Tenders are great though the fries could use a little bit of work though, sometimes they're too crunchy. I'd prefer if they were a bit softer though it's a matter of opinion. It does tend to get full at lunch time though like any popular restaurant so be prepared to wait a little bit. I would recommend either going through the drive-thru or picking up food in the restaurant. The curbside parking only has one spot which makes it a bit cumbersome to park when the drive-thru is full. Overall though the flaws mentioned are above are quite common in other places so they shouldn't stop you from tasting the delicious food here. Especially the chicken tenders. read more

I have come to this new chicken place a few times since it opened in the area. I thought it would be a great change from that other chicken place. At first it was exciting and the staff seemed great to bring a new eatery to the area. That quickly changed. The staff as of late has dwindled down with quality. Which is strange since QUALITY is what the Q stands for in PDQ. I always find more staff in the place than customers and they are not professional. They dont care about cleanliness and seen with no hair nets, talking loud about personal items behind the counter and lack of customer service. Tonight I went in for just a shake. I was overlooked by cashier B.R. to take another coworker order who went away from the register. After he took my order, didn't ask what size shake I wanted, then went and made my shake. I thought it was not as full as it should have been but good enough. As I walked out the store I took a drink and pretty much swallowed a liquified Reese's buttercup. Definitely wouldn't get another one cause it wasn't a shake. My main beef with this place is the people they hire to work in the store. The food is good, but the quality of people working dont seem like they take pride in working there and serving the customers. Professionalism is something that needs to be instilled in them. The buffalo bleu sauce is amazing. Everything is cooked to order and is so fresh. Compared to Popeyes and those other fast food chicken spots, they usually have sandwiches that are sold often ready to go just sitting there. Not this place though, they make sure your food is fresh. If you wait a little longer than expected, they take care of you with a buy one combo get one free. That's never happened to me at any place that sees me waiting! People dedicated to quality! This is true of PDQ at this location which opened up recently the staff were on point even through what was a rush hour. Guests were greeted with a smile and food came out fresh and hot. My fav sauce is the sweet sriracha on anything. Today I tried the salted caramel cookie it was okay a bit saltier than anticipated but still tasty. I like the tenders and the milkshakes are thick and full flavored. My friend loves the lemonade even as an avid strawberry lemonade fan of Chick-fil-A PDQ wins on the lemonade front. They also offer zucchini fries and green tea options that I like. My fries were crisp and my tea tasted yummy. All in all I appreciate PDQ and though they are quite pricey for fast food the taste is worth it. read more

I just returned home after going through this fairly new PDQ drive-thru, at 8:00PM. There was a system-wide outage resulting in them only being able to accept cash. That was okay with me since I surprisingly had cash, but normally I wouldn't. My order was taken by a very nice young man and my food was delivered by a different, also very nice, young man. That was the best part of the experience. My food was downright awful! After pulling away from the window and onto the main road, I did most people do - I reached for what I thought would be a hot, fresh French fry. I am not exaggerating when I say it was hardly edible. I thought it was a fluke, like maybe it was one that got stuck on the fryer basket too long, so I tried another one. The next one was the same. They were like rubber and clearly not fresh at all. In fact, I'd put money on it that they were at least an hour old and reheated/fried. I wasn't going back at this point, so I sucked it up and gave up on the fries. Then, I tasted a tater tot that came with my son's order and I actually had to spit it out! It was cold and tasted like pure grease. Blech! My crispy chicken sandwich was OK, but certainly not great. At least it was edible, though. I was honestly really looking forward to trying this PDQ, after eating at the one in Ft. Lauderdale and really liking it, but I am never going back to this location. They have a nice speaker pendant system with staff volume controls & even speakers as you walk up, playing a nice selection of music of Alternative pop. Now the reason you go, the food. Had the 3 chicken strip combo w/ drink. Chicken strips large & moist w/ bbq chipotle sauce. I didn't want french fries, they have a good selection of side substitutions, broccoli, apple slices, zucchini fries, etc. I selected a side salad which they are offered w/ a small upcharge, but wow this Very fresh mix green salad had cucumber & tomatoes, etc, with blueberry vinaigrette. This salad is better than any of the other fast food type restaurant & was above par for a fast casual location. It's not my first time here, but it will be my last. Manager is on the store, making workers feel uncomfortable and asking several times how am I doing? Do you need something? Etc etc... Not many customers in this location since this mall is not open yet. It would be nice that managers don't push the workers so much. Not much privacy since I couldn't have not even 5 minutes to eat my micro sandwich (portions are very tiny) and the few French fries that they gave me. Food taste better than Mc Donald's, but I will go back there for privacy , and also to rest without being interrupted feeling the presence and pressure of the store manager treating the people like slaves. I love PDQ in general but this location has a few issues the past 2x I have been here. Last time - I ordered a new menu item, buffalo tossed tenders and was charged for a combo despite just ordering the entree. I asked them if they could do just the entree and they said yes, bur they had some issues ringing it up (I think this was a new person being trained, which is understandable) and I was charged for the combo after all. Other issues I've had: napkins and straws were forgotten, ordering an arnold Palmer and just getting tea, and given sauces which were only half full. Not sure if these were just flukes or what, but I think they can be very successful location if they just get a little better training. I've never heard of this restaurant and probably wouldn't have visited if Chick-Fil-A was close by. I'm so glad I did. Awesome customer service. AJ greeted me at the door and opened it for me. Fast food, but made to order. AJ checked to make sure if I needed anything while I ate. Wow! Customer service bets that of any I've visited in a while on this level. Yeah, not sure what went wrong with PDQ but I wish them the best. Just went for the first time since the pandemic and they've removed many items from their menu. Fine, I'll stick to 5 tenders, zucchini fries and try their Wachos. Nothing was the same. The person at the window asked me which TWO sauces I wanted for a pretty big and expensive meal. I wanted to get my usual 5 sauces but the guy said my meal only qualified for two. Fine, I understand the situation with minimizing costs, etc. but don't be rude about it. I flashed my credit card and he rudely threw the extra sauces I had asked for. He should have just kept them. They taste nothing like what they used to. Bland with no flavor.
