My cousin wanted to meet here for lunch today. I'm not from the area so I thought it would be fine. The coffee was served but the waitress was inattentive. We had to flag her down just to get cream and sweetner. It was absent from our table, and she never even looked. By the time It came the coffee was lukewarm.Not a good first impression. I ordered the chicken gyro. I've had it in many places and it's usually very thin carved chicken with light and creamy tatziki and thin slices of onion and thin slices of tomato and crispy lettuce. This one was so disappointing... the bread was thick. The chicken was ok but with heavy tatziki , very thick wide onion slices, I had to pick out and thick tomato slices. It was impossible to eat without a fork. And the lettuce was wilted. A disappointed. My cousin's Lettuce on here burger plate was also wilted. Not my favorite. read more

It used to be our go to brunch place. They have huge breakfast selection and also offer wide range of beverages to drink. The huge problem is this place is really small. it gets crowded on weekend-mornings. So it gets dirty and so does the service gets clumsy. You have wait really long to get your order if you go in the evenings or the weekends. read more

STELLAR SERVICE, DELICIOUS FOOD! I dined here this evening and left feeling incredibly satisfied and even happier than when I arrived. My waitress made sure every need was attended to and provided phenomenal recommendations. My sandwich was packed with flavor - the grilled vegetables must have been marinated, as they were especially tasty. After my scrumptious meal, we faced much debate over the tightly packed bakery case - everything looked too good to choose! Finally, Crystal, our phenomenal server, came to the rescue and helped us hone in on the perfect slice of caramely turtle cheesecake. I had a blast dining out with my friends in such an awesome atmosphere. I positively can not wait to come again. read more

Well wife said let's go to peaches, I've heard there not too bad. Since we have never been there we gave it a try. Long and short it was a bad dining experience. To begin with the waitress spilled my egg cream soda as she placed it down and never even wiped it up. Now I would have no problem wiping it up myself but she didn't even come back with a napkin. I'm not about to wipe the table with the napkin im using for my face. Next the waitress brought my wife the wrong appetizer then apparently forgot what she ordered for her main course and came back 10 minutes later to ask again. We each ordered a separate special both were tasteless neither of us ate more than 3 bites. On a 2x3 table the waitress not once cleared the dishes. The final check was literally hanging off the side of the table because there was no room to fit it among the dirty dishes. The only reason why I'm giving it a star is because the egg cream soda I ordered and the wife's dessert tasted good. read more

We went out today looking for a great burger. Several establishments we entered would not cook the burger to our liking, rare to medium rare, so we left. Peaches was our last stop. They got it right. Our Brie Mushroom Burger and Sweet Potato Fries were outstanding. They made the burger to order to our liking and it was by far the best burger we have had thus far in this area. The waitress was very friendly and good. If you want a great burger, I would suggest you go to Peaches. read more

While the ambience is charming, the food in comparison was a complete let down. My wife had French onion soup which was way too salty and the quiche was too dry and seemed like it has simply been re-heated for a longer time than required. Fortunately my omelette was homely and we had at least one good take away. If only the food quality stood its ground, this would probably be a place I would come back too ! read more

Great food and atmosphere. Just wanted to let the owners know that the glasses mysteriously combust. My dad was drinking a soda in a tall glass and the bottom randomly fell out. When we told our waitress she kindly apologized, got my dad a new salad; however, she mentioned that this happens all the time. She said the short glasses are even worse and one day six glasses exploded at once. Maybe new glasses are needed. read more

I have to disagree with a lot of the reviews about Peaches. First of all, it's nothing like a diner especially the prices! Diners in this area are the most overpriced of any I've been to. I had the Eggplant Florentine Sandwich which is nothing you could get in a diner and the bread tasted homemade or from a quality bakery. My sister loved her turkey and avocado sandwich and had the broccoli soup which she said could have been a tad hotter but was still good. Plus the desserts are always amazing here. Think it's refreshing that I know I'll get good food but don't have to get very dressed up. read more

VERY average and prices on the high side. NOT baby friendly for weekday breakfast, depending on the hostess. I've been to Peaches at least 15 times in the last 8 years. Usually, it's been acceptably average - the food is ok, desserts are great, table service is good, and the prices are a little high. However, the experience I had with a young hostess in October 2014 was particularly bad.She wouldn't seat us when there was clearly space available, she was rude, and she made no effort to accommodate us. I had had a good experience with an older female hostess just a few weeks earlier, when I was also with my baby, so I know that the younger hostess's lame excuses about why she couldn't seat us in some of the available spaces that I pointed out to her were ludicrous. I know I should have called the manager to complain specifically about the hostess, but I didn't have time. It's too bad that one individual's bad attitude has meant that I will not return. read more

Food is always good but Manager discriminates against single women. We arrived and I advised my son was next door picking up Tylenol and Kevin advised that we had to wait to be seated until he arrived. Shortly after a group came in and they said they had someone who was also not there yet he was parking the car but they were seated. When I asked him why they were seated and we weren't he ignored me and sat the group. Not good policy as I am in the restaurant business myself and always tip good and go out of my way to be courteous. Bad policy. After we were seated I asked the waitress the Manager's first and last name which she reluctantly gave me then when I asked who owned it her very unattractive face became even less attractive when she crinkled it up with a snotty attitude. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and there was no line of people waiting. We told the host that there were three of us (two of us were there, we were waiting on a 3rd not 5 minutes away). He told us they don't seat until everyone is there. I told him I was pregnant (very visibly so too - 6 months), and that u was feeling nauseous abd wanted to be seated so I could order some juice, and he pointed to the waiting chairs behind us and told me I could have a seat there. I asked again politely because there was no one else in line waiting to be seated, and he pointed to the counter and said I coukd sit there. I asked to speak to the manager, and he responded "I am the manager". We told him he lost our business abd left to go eat elsewhere. read more

Peaches is a treat for me and my wife every time we go. In fact, we just had dinner at a dif restaurant and ended up over at Peaches for take home desserts. It's pretty mind boggling that it only has 3 stars. This place is great! Hey, it can be busy sometimes. And the staff is young so one might run into a college student not having the best day but this place is tremendous. Don't let the 3 star review fool you. This place is great. Seriously. As a successful business owner I find customer satisfaction and comfort is very important. When dealing with the public there is an expectation of a high level of service. I recently visited your restaurant and was very disappointed your wait staff was courteous but managment was very poorly mannered. 5 of us had to stuff into a corner when there were plenty of open tables. Creating a very uncomfortable situation. Being 6'5 270 I should not be sitting in an isle I can assure I will not return and nore will everyone I speak to this coming weekend. The food may be good at this eatery but the Hosts have a lot to learn about TEAMwork. The cattiness of these two employees (hosts) was just not expectable. While there, I overheard this middle-aged guy and girl say some of the most rotten things about one of their co-workers (a younger waitress). The mean things said about their coworker-included comments about her family, curse words about tips, and nasty words about the job in general. As the office manager of a well-known local area company, and a paying customer to this establishment, I cannot even begin to understand why these two are allowed to work in a public setting such as this. Has anyone (employees/co-worker/customers) ever complained about these two? Why does the owner or supervisor allow this? Is it because one is gay and the other female and the owner/supervisor is afraid of having discrimination charges being brought upon them? I am certain this is not the only time this has occurred just by the way I observed the attitudes and actions of the other employees. I am appalled at what I observed and for those reasons; I will not be a returning customer. If one of my employees ever spoke like this about one of their co-workers, I would have them escorted off the premises for good. To management: Teach your employees what Teamwork means by holding a training class on a quarterly basis; Maintain and Enforce anti-bulling rules and regulations with all staff; Harassment in the workplace makes for unhappy employees so management must monitor, control, and extinguish any such issues in a timely manner. When your staff cannot get along, your business will reflect it. Beware; you might lose your business if you ignore these issues. Take charge of the situation before it's too late. read more

Went here this morning for breakfast and ordered a big breakfast [pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash brown]. The waffles actually had a bitter taste which necessitated lots of syrup, the scrambled eggs were overcooked, and so was the bacon. For two big breakfast, coffee for two and orange juice, I paid almost $40 not including tip! If I was Gordon Ramsay, I would have asked to return all the food back to the kitchen and cursed up a storm. Not impressed and will never come here again! Fresh squeezed orange juice was $6.95 for a small/medium size! I would have preferred regular OJ for that price. Please save your money and head to the McDonald's which is just across the street and actually serves food that is of slightly higher quality and 1/4 the price!!! The reason I think other reviewers gave higher stars is the lack of appreciation for high quality food and lack of a great palate. Overrated food for overrated prices! Conclusion: Skip this place and head to a Denny's, McDonald's, or Capital City Diner down the road. read more

Was back here yesterday after a very long time and had dessert with my dad. The inside decor has changed some since I was last there about 5 years ago or so and I would have to say for the better. Food wise....I had the cake and ice cream dessert and had the oreo mousse cake with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was standard...decent quality with good taste. The mousse cake was tasty...not as sweet as I would have liked it though. Just a touch touch sweeter and it would have been a true winner. However, with the ice cream, they complimented each other well. So at the end of the day, have this cake with the ice cream to balance out the sweetness and you will thoroughly enjoy. I think by itself, the cake would have been too rich as far as thickness, but yet not sweet enough. My biggest gripe about this was that it was $7.50 for the cake and ice cream combo....wasn't very big for that much money. Not that I'm a stickler on food portions b/c I'm more about quality then quantity, but the price was pretty steep for what you got. My dad had the blueberry with mascarpone cream cake and he thought that it was pretty good. The only thing was that the outside of the cake looked a little dry...... I've eaten there on occassion in the past and the food is pretty standard fare although they do get efforts for trying. The perk of the day...wait service. The girl who took care of us really was fantastic. Quick, friendly, she knew the menu, and she was just nice as can be. It's been a while since I've been there, but I think I might go back again soon for dessert....it seems the dessert options have increased since I was last there. read more

Caveat emptor to the weight watchers---there's an absolutely SICK pastry case beckoning; so ye who enter may as well abandon all hope and just resign yourself to the cold hard fact that you're about to hit "TILT" on the calorie meter before sallying forth from this establishment. I really in all my years going to restaurants have never met anyone with such a poor & ignorant attitude. She is NOT good for your customers. She makes unruly comments in front of them about another customer, namely me. I held back saying anything to her so as not to make a scene in a public place. She was so combative. I will be calling you to explain the circumstances. One other point, she will lie to you because I called her after the fact and she lied to me. Peaches used to be one of my local favorites until I had the worst customer service experience of my life and have not been back since. I've worked in the restaurant business for years and was appalled by the service. My aunt and I entered the cafe and requested a table letting them know my cousin would arrive momentarily. There were only two tables taken at the time and the rest of the place was empty. We were told we could not sit until our entire party arrives (okay fair enough). However, we decided we were hungry so we would order our food and our guest's food so it would be ready when she arrived so we told another one of the hostesses we were ready to order for all three of us. So the second hostess was very gracious and sat us, as she was about to take our order the first hostess came over and rudely told us we were not allowed to sit or order until our entire party had arrived. A party totaling 3 people when 2 of us were already there. We were in disbelief. As she rudely made us stand up and get out of the 4 top, our final guest walked in. I let them know it was terrible customer service and we would be bringing our business elsewhere and not returning. I had previously been a pretty regular customer, but that experience tainted the entire place for me. read more

This place is great if you like mediocre overpriced food that's covered in mouse turds. Just last week I was in with my family. We sat at the little 3 person table near the silverware station. Waited nearly 15 minutes to be greeted by our server (who was LOUDLY talking about how she didn't want to be working). The entire place reeked of dead animal, there were mice running out from under the booths AND my daughter even saw mice running across the tops of the coffee cups on the shelf which were later used to serve coffee to customers!! DISGUSTING! Our food took forever and was in the window for quite some time before we received it. My daughters pancake was soggy and sour. My eggs were cold. My husband ordered pasta, which was essentially grease soup with noodles. Don't even get me started on his salad. UCK! This place is a joke! We will not be returning, save yourself the hassle and go to a diner. Avoid this place like the plague!! (Which you might get from all those rodents living there!) I love their breakfast, specifically their blueberry pancakes. lunches are good too, may be not the best. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at Peaches. Service is excellent, atmosphere is friendly and warm, food is delicious with unique takes on traditional menu items. My husband enjoyed the Texas Egg Bowl at breakfast, I loved the Chicken Brie Bacon Pasta at dinner. I love this little cafe. The staff are helpful but not intrusive, and they serve breakfast all day. The banana bread french toast is amazing. Another reviewer commented that they're in a strip mall, but it's Sty plaza, not some run-down place with a Christie's Toy Box.. so there's some decent shopping to do after your breakfast or lunch. Aside from the banana bread french toast, most of the other things I've tried (portobello and regular rueban, an omelette, sandwiches) weren't too distinguishable from other restaurants of the same caliber.
