We stopped here over the weekend to buy a Christmas tree from their lot at the rear of the store. The ladies that work in the store are very nice and helpful, however the young man selling the trees was the rudest person I have every encountered in a retail environment. He basically told us he didn't care if we bought a tree or not and that he was completely over loading trees onto the top of SUVs. As a side note, the trees were brown in the center and had not been trimmed into shape throughout the summer. We took our business elsewhere and found a gorgeous fir at the OSAGE farm a few mile down the road. I hope in the future the nice ladies in the store will find a nicer person to sell their Christmas trees. read more

I'm a Highlands local, and have shopped at Peak Experience as long as I can remember. They have an amazing eclectic selection of local jewelry, pottery and crafts at very reasonable prices. There are not many shops like this left in Highlands that maintain the real personality of our little town.The store is a short drive from town, but definitely worth it. Don't let the review about Christmas trees keep you from visiting. The tree farm is once a year, and not relevant to the store! read more

My wife and daughters visited the shop on our visit to Highlands last week. The place has 3 stories of beautiful objects. My wife bought a beautiful bracelet and I bought a butterfly print that will look great in our cottage. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the shop was like a spa, so relaxing. We will definitely visit again. read more
