The volunteers give you 2 pages worth of things to expect - and that they try to adopt out the animals the same day they get them and then it's your responsibility to take said animal to the vet. I was very informed and I am grateful for this rescue and everything everybody complained about is in that 2 page document. Of course the animal is going to smell bad, the animal was homeless! As a new parent, it is your responsibility to bathe him. We took our new rescue to Wag n Wash and had a blast soaking him down. I gave the rescue a 4 tho because of how disorganized the event was. I've never been to an adoption event before so I'm not sure what I was expecting.

My mom's cat fell and hurt her leg. We took her in on Saturday and found it was broken at the knee cap. They then told us to put her in a dog crate while they sent the xrays to another orthopedic vet to get options. We called twice during the week as we were worried as she was not eating nor drinking much. Both times we were told the vet would call us back and never got a call back like we were told to expect. My mom called this morning and got the run around. The vet would call us if they had time. Meanwhile my cat is losing weight and we need to find out options to actually treat her. So I am never going back. You would be better off just taking your vet to the emergency vet as they are too busy to be helpful or maybe short staffed as their vets are horrible. Do not waste your time nor money on this place. It is no longer a great place to bring your animal. We are about to take her the emergency vet where hopefully we will actually get some answers and help.

I have 3 senior female cats and have been using Great Value Pet Clinic on Black Forest Road for 4…read moreyears now. I take my cats in for annual checkups that include weight, heart rate, temperature, teeth check, general health and senior cat (CBC) bloodwork. All 3 cats have also had dental cleaning and dental work there as needed at very reasonable costs. One cat had been diagnosed via bloodwork with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). It was great to learn that early on before it had progressed too far. I now have this cat on a diet that includes 4 tsp of emulsified chicken or salmon each day along with CKD kibbles that has helped immensely. For two years now, it has apparently not tested positive for CKD. The owner, Mr. Clothier; his son Chris and the receptionist Patty have all repeatedly been very friendly and helpful as well as other staff that I have had lesser contact with. I continue to highly recommend this Pet Clinic. They are very caring of pets and are very reasonably priced.
