To give you a great example, I had a VRBO family renting my home. First MH always goes by to make sure the house and grounds are ready before renter arrival. On a FRIDAY night at 7pm the boiler stopped functioning in the house. The temp outside was 8 degrees and the boiler provides HEAT for the house! My renter phoned the Mountain Home number and they responded within minutes. The owner was actually out of town with his family but fielded the call and got staff to bring additional electric heaters to the house. As anyone knows, it it very hard to get the "trades", in this case a plumber, to react on the weekend. Billy used his good relations with the trades to get a plumber scheduled first thing. To tell you the truth, when you are 1000 miles away from your house and something goes wrong, you want Mountain Home on the scene. On a regular, recurring basis, MH has a good system to schedule crews and take care of all home owner needs, from cleaning, monthly maintenance, seasonal maintenance, weekly monitoring, VRBO monitoring, construction , repair and rejuvenation of surfaces. As I have approached retirement, Billy has been great with working with me to coordinate some of my DIY projects to help with reducing my maintenance cost. That is important to me. Mountain Home and Billy Laird are honest, resourceful, responsive and conscientious. I highly recommend Mountain Home!

I find Paradise Property Management to be all of these things. They treat you with courtesy and friendly support. After going through a few other management companies they are the best we have used. We would never use anyone else.

No response to phone inquiries...except they called my home line even tho they know we were at the rental another tow days, House, 21 Treasury, was in disrepair and truly not worth the rental payment they asked. This is a January 2022 review so it is recent and relevant…read more Be aware that the master "bedroom" that has a nice bathtub did not have a door installed. So, not only did the master bedroom not have a door, essentially the master bathroom did not have a door either. Please look at the property pics that show the bathtub in the master bathroom. During the stay we requested that the door be installed and they agreed but never got it done. The door was in the closet but the hinge hardware was missing so we could not hang it ourselves. The property description needs to state clearly that the master bedroom (master bathtub room) does not have a door so that guests in the living room below can hear every whisper and can also walk up the stairs to sneak up on you bathing, sleeping, getting dressed, etc. as there is no door! I left a 4 star review on VRBO saying that the property would be a 5 star if only the master bedroom door was installed. Kathy Reid then left a retaliatory 3 star renter review. So, in summary the property is misrepresented and be careful leaving a critical review on VRBO as they will then leave a revenge rating.

We stayed at Kate's place in March 2021 and had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and…read morein perfect order. This was a work / ski trip and the Wifi was over 100 mb, so we had no trouble with zoom meetings and large files. We didn't have any issues, but the management company did come to shovel snow as appropriate. I would be very happy to stay there again.
