It has a variety of books for people to take home and read or he can return books or whatever. It's a nice design.

Our city of Louisville has several of these. Way too many off the top of my head to count. This particular one which is charter number 51730 is located in the someone lot of Saint Rita's Catholic parish off Preston Highway in the okolona area of Louisville. If you drive straight to the middle portion of the parking lot right before you see the baseball fields you will see this location. Overall like most little free library it is a doll concept. This particular location was chocked full of books. So not sure if it is just used a whole bunch or if the school or church fills it quite often.

The library contains mostly adult books at this time but there's room for more. Many appear to be retired library books and there are both paperbacks and hardcovers. I added three from my own collection that I'm carrying around as I reduce the size of my own library at home. This is charter number 28059. I love the Little Free Library. Their mission is to promote literacy, especially in places where…read moreindividuals may not have access to books. Each Little Free Library is cared for by and individual/group who's mission is to keep it in good working order, and make sure books are available. This particular library is brought to the community by a Girl Scouts Troop. The library is located in Oakbrook Park. This makes it easy for neighborhood children to have access when playing at the park. On my most recent visit, roughly 2/3 of the books were for kids/teens. Most of my other visits have had religious texts and romance novels. If you plan on visiting, bring a book or too to help keep the library stocked. Don't have a book to donate? That's okay. People from The Little Free Library want you to read. Even if you don't have a book to swap, it is more than okay to take one... or even two.

This free library is in the parking area of the First Presbyterian Church. Painted an off white or…read morebeige, it is on a single stand with a flat shingled roof. Inside, a bit of a jumble of books on two shelves. Most of them children's books with some religious tracts, I some tidying. The inside is in good shape and the books are dry. Nothing that caught my eye today though. This library does not have a plaque on it and it is not located in the Little Free Library database or map. I don't know the sponsor or the charter number. I love how the physical structure of the library compliments it's environment. Durning our vist, the library was well stocked with books. Books were for a range of ages. If you have a book to share, please do so. If you do not, its is still okay to take one. I have been informed that tjis library is know to also have the occasional snack or even seeds from Redden Gardens.
