Abysmal service! (Note: I am 39 weeks pregnant) I called to make an appointment for a 1-hour foot massage and was told the next available slot was 2:30. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, and I was basically told they didn't have my appointment. The person who made the was off-site and didn't pass the information. I didn't mind waiting in the lobby as they were busy with other clients. After waiting about 10 min, a water bucket is brought into the lobby for me to put my feet in. I thought it was odd, but I've never been here and didn't know how they operate. The masseuse came out and did my massage in the lobby. It was a nice massage. No complaints there. The masseuse finished, and a woman who said she didn't have an appointment walked in. The woman was promptly told to go to room 2. I didn't think anything of it, as someone left while I was getting the massage. I asked where the restroom was, and I was quickly told I couldn't use the bathroom until I paid. Immediately taken aback, I said it wouldn't take me long to use the restroom as I had to come back through the lobby to leave. She said, "No pay first! We have customers waiting." I'm sure she realized I was visibly angry and tried to make small talk, asking how far along I was, etc. I paid, and she offered me water and asked for a tip. I declined and left to use the restroom at a neighboring business. I will never return to this establishment, and I will make sure to inform anyone coming here moving here or coming to TDY to Maxwell AFB to stay away from this place. read more

First my boyfriend bought me an hr foot massage for Christmas. Due to covid Im just now being able to use it. I get here only for them to tell me it's now only 30 mins due to price increase. Seems like if u buy an hr massage price increase or not you'd get what you pinaid for. Ok fine whatever. Now she tells me to go have a seat in the waiting area. I go sit down and this is what I find. A freaking dog! At going point I want to leave but I mean what else am I going to use a gift certificate specifically for this place. Last but not least there a towel just thrown on the floor. She picks up the towel, not folded or anything and lays it across the foot ottoman and tell me to place my feet on it. I ask her if it was clean. She says yea. But let's be honest we both know that this towel is not clean. It was just throw on thr floor like dirty laundry. The dog probably been laying on it and everything. I will NEVER come back here! My husband and I have been using Pearl since we moved to Montgomery in 2019! They are always amazing!! Very clean, relaxing, great prices, and all the misuses are so friendly!! We've gotten tons of couple massages, as well as individual deep tissue massages. We've both had above and beyond service every time!! I can't recommend them enough!! I have been to a few massage places throughout the years, and Pearl massage is a great one!! So glad they're so close to us! I went to get a foot massage in one of the chairs in the front as usual and the chairs were gone because of "how they looked". I have been to massage parlors all over and usually there are chairs for foot massages in the front but it is what it is. Therefore I had to go to a room with a bed. The lady brought a plastic container and asked me to put my feet in it. I sat over 15 minutes with my feet in water so I opened the door and ask if we can get started since I had my feet in the water so long. The larger lady came in and said that usually your feet go in water for 10 minutes. I am like it's been over 15 minutes. That lady walked to the back to tell them in a mocking way, like almost growling, and they laughed. When they came back I called her out on it and she denied it and said they don't speak English to each other, which isn't true either. I would never recommend going here. read more

Zero stars if I could. Just left. These people OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT CERTIFIED. Did a couples massage with my boyfriend. Walked in and woman at the front desk asked us if we knew what to do and sent us to the back. No communication whatsoever, we weren't even asked what type of massage we wanted, what pressure we wanted, or what our problem areas were. The ladies came in speaking loudly in their language and did so repeatedly throughout the massage. They mindlessly rub you, they don't actually look for your knots nor do they massage with intent. To put it best, they basically rubbed oil all over us. We get massages all the time, idk if Alabama has crappy massage spots or what but I'm for sure not getting another massage in this state. I told the lady she can go harder for my massage and she would for a second then go back to lightly rubbing. She tried using her elbow, which is what an unskilled masseuse resorts to doing. I am so glad that I decided to visit pearl massage for a great 60 min massage. I had several knots in my shoulders from traveling and stress from work, and Joyce did an excellent job taking care of them. I frequently get massages, and this is one of the best I've experienced. A quick note: the receptionist mentioned that the Yelp check in offer for $5 off was not put up by their business. They don't know how it got posted on Yelp, but they do not honor it. This was my birthday weekend massage this was the last thing that I was doing Sunday night my appointment was at 8 o'clock. We started at 8:05 at first it started off like it was going to be wonderful for the first 20 to 30 minutes then after that, I was in the very first room never get the very first room. You could hear every customer come in every car that pulled up and for some reason my masseuse kept leaving out of my room and going to greet other customers so my whole relaxation period was broken, her and the lady next-door was arguing in their language of course but I know what arguing sounds like so overall it was the worst experience and then they try to force my husband for a tip last, but not least she slap me on the feet and said to get dressed when I looked up at the clock it was 945 so overall my hour massage was about 45 minutes with total interruption, so no stars worst massage ever maybe a different day maybe a different time frame I don't know if there was no interruptions and I got my full hour my total relaxation on my birthday weekend it probably would've been amazing so I only got 30 minutes total bliss 30 I can say is a bummer I'm glad it was the last thing on my list of things to do Sunday for my birthday weekend...... today is my birthday. I did a walk-in 120 minute massage and they were able to accommodate me with no problems. The girl I had did an awesome job. I left two hours later completely refreshed and relaxed. I'd definitely recommend this place. I'd also recommend going to the restroom before a two hour massage. read more

This was my first visit to Pearl massage. I only went because I couldn't get in at my usual spot. The massage was ok. I'm accustomed to a much more personalized massage. I don't know the therapist's name; She never introduced herself. I requested a 60 minute deep tissue massage. She never asked if there were particular areas that need attention and by the time I asked if she could work on my hamstrings, the hour was nearly over.
