    PAC man!

Very cool atmosphere. The crowd tends to have a college vibe, but it's not everyone, you'll still see a mix crowd here. Happy hour prices are great...I believe it's $4 beer and $4 wells. The place is bigger than it looks, and has a base type floor below with pool tables, pac man, and foosball, darts..prob other stuff I don't remember. I dig it, worth checking out if in the area.

One, perhaps the only one, authentic bar on The Pearl Street Mall. Divey yes, Dicey no. Bartender was very efficient: no chit-chat, no gratuitous flirtation, no BS. Kitchen is very much the same. Don't bother saying, "I've heard about your legendary BLT, and hope it's all true!!" Just, say, "BLT," and hand over $8.00. They'll bring it to the bar, or in my case, out front. Great BLT (grilled bread, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plenty of bacon) and hot, perfectly salted fries.

Was in Boulder and had some extra time one afternoon while walking around to stop here for lunch. Cool no-frills pub. Order your drink in front and your food in the back if you're getting food. Seat yourself. Good prices, good burger.

Best Old Fashioneds in town! You may think a college bar staffed by "bartenders" who only know how to pour beers and shots who have learned to despise their college clientele over the years, and who's owner has made his money a hundred times over wouldn't bother to keep a single bottle of Angostura bitters stocked behind the bar, but you would be totally wrong! They definitely have bitters and definitely know how to make the simplest, most well known cocktail for guests. They understand that it would be ridiculous to have all that whiskey and scotch on the wall and not know what to do with it besides pour shots and add soda or cola. Duh! Give them more credit than that. So please give their old fashioned a try! They definitely have that one very common inexpensive ingredient called Angostura Bitters behind the bar to make one and they definitely know that it is just 2oz of whiskey, 1/2oz of simple syrup, and a couple dashes of bitters. Oh, and please try their Manhattan or Rob Roy as well! What useless excuse for a "bar" would bother to carry scotch and whiskey and not keep a single bottle of $13 vermouth handy? That would be pathetic! And this bar definitely isn't pathetic.

    Finally a day off!!!

This is far the best place in Boulder for a hamburger and wings. I would not post this, if I was not super satisfied. Wowww what can I say.The food is so delicious every bite is sweet flavors of a well made burger.

We stopped in on a whim, looking for a decent burger and we were not disappointed. This is how I think a neighborhood bar should look, sort of dark, narrow with one bartender running the show - who was personable, friendly and highly efficient. The kitchen is in the back of the bar and you walk over and order or the bartender takes the order and runs the order back. We had multiple orders including wings, burgers and fish and chips. All were freshly cooked and piping hot. We were all very satisfied with our meals - I had the fish and chips and the fish was perfectly cooked and crispy - the potatoes were well seasoned and the Cole slaw was light. A great meal! Finally, the bathrooms were clean, the crowd was fun (and clearly local) and we didn't feel rushed- we could have easily enjoyed drinks there for a couple of hours.

Very European-equse with all of its character... Instead, we sat near the front at one of the long, communal wooden tables nears. Service was speedy and friendly. We came back a few weeks later and brought a friend from out of town who liked beer and was visiting Boulder. We enjoyed the patio and was happy to order from the happy hour menu. We enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing all the people walking around. There's also a really large room in the back that would serve private parties or large groups very well. The owner decorates the restaurant himself and it feels personal to his Czech heritage. We ordered the fried pierogies which were delicious. The spicy sauce was so yummy that I kept it to finish with my meal. I ordered the pork Jager schnitzel with spaezle. I liked the crispy schnitzel but I might ask for the gravy sauce on the side next time. The Honey Bite goes down easy and is delicious. Location is great. Parking was paid on the street and convenient to the restaurant. We had the same servers, nice young woman but I can't remember her name now. Very friendly and helpful. We like recommending this place to friends and will be back when visiting Boulder.

I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.
